Well done Woody. Round a Ryder cup course which challenges the most elite always going to be a challenge. You need to get on swing tweaks like your lad Luke previously advertised and sort that slice though. Short par 4’s you’re unable to reach the green in 2 lad, with the old chipper and those lag putts if you got a better swing path those scores would tumble! Even if you don’t care about the slice still very good in front of camera and seeing a quad is always relatable anyway!

I'm a 26 handicapper & I use the same chipper, tried a round or two without one and it added 5 shots to my game more people should use a chipper. and you are right , you should lay your own game and hit what club you want

Thanks for making the fun video. You sliced a lot. I used to do that too, slice or pull. One thing you can try is to tilt your head a little more toward your right leg. It will delay your body's turn a little. At least it worked for me.

I enjoyed watching the video and I have been through everything that your doing. I'm a 13 handicapper and by no means an expert but if I can offer any advice I would suggest working out what distance you carry every club on average. I would get rid of your 5 iron and get a same lofted hybrid. I would also consider hitting alsomething shorter than trying to hit the green from 180 yds I noticed you never hit a green but went short and right and In rough or trouble. Cutting the distance in to a distance or club you are comfortable to hit straight will help keep it in play and reduce the triples. Kéep the chipper it's golden ! 👊

Nice game Woody, if you would like one tip with your swing, at the top of your back swing your first movement you make on the downswing is to come over the top which is giving you the out to in swing and always ending up right side, try to hold back on the down swing with your arms and start with your body first and try and drop your arms down instead of rising over.

On the first hole, the second shot into the trees, couldn't you have taken a drop where the ball crossed into the hazard? Was that OB? I believe I've often failed to take stroke and distance since I thought that if it crossed into a hazard, I could take a drop. To be clear, it would be two into the trees, three, a drop/penalty, and then hit four once I dropped the ball.

nice fast swing. there is plenty of potential in this kid. I have never played golf by the way. but I can dispense advice. Because of youtube. Ok I am kidding. I'm a 12 hcp. Only piece of advice I'll give you is to spend plenty of time putting. count the number of putts after the round and you will realise just how much it could change your score.
