I love the way they decorated their apartment. It's so beautifully done, and I love all the art in their home. You can really tell they thought about the art/furniture that went into their house because everything they bought for their home has a story.

Definitely rent prices are about location and when you move to nyc you must know rent is gonna be expensive. For example, my husband and I, we are paying 4300 in prospect heights however our apartment have two floors and a backyard (not as good decoration as the apt in this video haha) so we consider that the price is good, also we love gardening and good backyards are hard to find in nyc. Love your videos 💖💖 Sorry if my English is not very good xx

Lol it’s definitely expensive but there are apartments even cheaper that are modern like this one and also give you more for your buck. It usually depends what neighborhood you want to live in.

I pay 1600 for a studio. Just depends on the neighborhood. I'm in Flatbush.. so it's less trendy but still has its appeal like being close to Prospect Park.

I'm sorry people, I know NYC as other major cities has view rights or whatever you call it but paying $3700 a month doesn't make sense to me. Yes, the view is worth something and living in that area and city comes with some benefits, I'll give you that. But it's actually the same amount of money per month for me as one year of mortgage pay I have now, living in a 3 floor apartment close to the sea with 140m2 of living space. I'm not really sure how people are able to pay that kind of amount to rent every month. Do hope you enjoyed living there for a year !

Location, location, location! Also it's split between 2 people which is $1850 per person (which is similar to what you'd pay for a single-person studio in NY). Not that it changes things, just some additional perspective :) There are definitely SO MANY benefits to living somewhere with a lower cost of living and more space x

You can't compare your large apartment in Europe to a condo in NYC. Real estate value is based on supply and demand for location, not the size of the apartment. People can afford the high rent in NYC because NYC is full of high paying jobs since it is the largest city in the largest capital market in the world. You could also get a huge mansion in rural India for the price you pay for your apartment but then no one wants to live in rural India.

I really hate the people that will actually pay this amount of money for rent. If y’all didn’t exist, i feel like they would have to lower the rent. Especially in Brooklyn. Move back to manhattan! This pisses me off. Because now the average person who are Brooklyn born can’t even afford it. Y’all have contributed to the gentrification.
