In the summer of 2018 we travelled from Finland to Sweden to see Iron Maiden with my older brother. We stayed at a hotel that my brother had stayed in for oh so many nights before because of his work. We had reserved a Deluxe -room with his bonus points, but as soon as we entered the lobby, they gleefully greeted him by his first name and they upgraded the room to a Suite for free. In the Suite was a hand written note welcoming us and it even had an Iron Maiden quote from one of their songs. That was kinda sweet! 😁 And yes, the show was effin' awesome and totally sold out. Full house (arena)! Oh, and the Suite wasn't nothing new to my brother. He had stayed in the same room several times before. That's just a perk for a steady loyal customer who brings in the money on a weekly basis (paid by his employer).

One of the best capital cities in Europe (for me, it’s either here or Kyiv). If you haven’t been and you get the chance, go!. I was there twice last year because I could. Great place. Great beer from some outstanding breweries, some fantastic food, peaceful vibe. Friendly people. Loads to see, walk up to the castle, get the funicular down, or vice versa. Wander round the Tivoli Park. Some cool grafitti to see, go to Metelkova. My first visit switched me on (randomly) to one of my now favourite bands - Koala Voice. The market in Barbs video is pretty much dead centre of the city. Get the bus to Lake Bled. Predjama Castle and Postojna Caves, just go. My plan was to go there again this year, get out to Maribor and further afield. Obviously stopped by what’s going on. Cap’n B as a wolf I love your Slovenia vids!

Working in a hotel I might be able to help, yes looks like a decent 4*, ours does still have cups, glasses etc. Though they are just well sanitised between stays, we are selling our rooms on a rotation basis right now, they they sit empty a few days between each use. We got rid of our mini-bars years ago .. simply too many guests stealing and claiming it wasnt them, we have taken coffee machines out of rooms as they are tricky to clean right now, although do still get some instant coffee and teabags

Your audio has always been fine! And I love when you show us Slovenia. Whether it's hotels, beer, wine, whatever. I know you don't eat animals, which must limit your ability to make videos on traditional cuisine, but that would be great too. Maybe also how you do veganism might be a good topic. I tried it, but felt so terrible after two weeks I gave up, and think I got the necessary proteins with lentils, tofu, and some other things, but not totally sure.
