Personally I'd go for the 2nd one purely as the living & dining area is not so closely overlooked by other buildings as the 1st unit. Only downside to no.2 is it might get a bit warm inside during the day as the sun passes around.

These units would be acceptable for short-term living…can’t imagine living in such a small space long-term. But very affordable! Only 18 USD per day.

Yep, this is actually a good size unit for Thailand, many are a lot smaller. Tend to get better value and a lot more room in a house a short way out of the city :)

I think I would prefer somewhere in the old City, close to markets and park. Lots of hidden gems like restaurant and ma and pa shops selling fruit from their garden. So much of the City I still need to discover.

Yeah the old city is awesome, trying to think off the top of my head I don't think there are any condos actually in the old city (I'm going to check this), but you can do long term hotels for similar prices but yeah it would only be one room :)

Good size rooms. Looks really good. Definitely interesting. Electric bills may be high with those big windows. One problem: No shower divider.

I'd do either one of those in a heartbeat! I like the size and the view and the kitchen. My goal is to spend slightly less, but I'd be willing to open my wallet for these, no question.

Could you mention about access to all floors - as disabled OAP it is often omitted but would be useful to know about lifts - and if there is more than one as often older premises the LIFT IS OUT OF ORDER

Yeah these places both had lifts, that being said JC Hill had steps to get up to the lobby.

It’s nice Jon but but the noise you can hear the cars go by 500 us the view is amazing if you had a gym and a pool but if you only have a pension of £1300 you can stay here some people will think its to big but if there is two people you could pay half and go Dutch 😂

Pet friendly would likely be a house, not a condo, and I think it would be negotiating with the owner if they would allow it :)

Very nice condo but still prefer Hillside 4 as the location is better, it's cheaper, there's a bathtub, a pool and a gym

I think the price reflects what you get. Why would anyone want to seat on this terrace? . You can imagine the pollution and smell from those thousands of passing vehicles.
