So in other words, you mastered the game. I mean, it looks like you memorized the buildings on where to go, where is the best hiding spot and how to get a better position. Your aim is great, no doubt, but the way you move on buildings is way more impressive. Haven't seen anyone do that.

at 3:41 at .25 xspeed you can see that the Peacekeeper hitbox can be misleading . The shot spread seems more like a circle pattern than a square pattern( that's depicted). Im gonna start focusing on hitting center mass more. See if that helps. Guess that's a general rule of thumb...but shotguns tend to give me a mentality of '"just hit in this general area of the crosshairs". Which I realized its just as important to focus on getting that center mass shot than it is to just fit them in your crosshair box. Probably obv. to some, but to others hopefully this can help understand shotguns better.
@shottyhottie2 жыл бұрын
I mean.. when the choke is used the crosshair clearly becomes a circle..

@@shottyhottie True...usually I use peacekeeper at close range and rarely choke it for well aimed longer shots. Technically the bullet spread is a star right?
@keeds88582 жыл бұрын
@@davidbrooks2348 Hello, counter strike player here, Shot gun pullets tend to spread further over longer distances. Depending on the gun & shot it fires. I don't know if apex has different shot gun mechanics between weapons, how ever Hip firing shot guns is also viable close range, depending on the gun & pellet as well. In your buy menu does it have a thing to tell you the different statistics of the weapon? usually in my opinion the long range weapons do well hip firing at close range, the short ranged weapons always need to be zoomed in to create a choke on the pellet spread to increase the damage. I remember cod 4 being the last true game I played where shot gunning was something to actually try out.

It was thanks to this video that I learned that there's a difference between playing with the controller, and actually training to aim and play well with the controller. For some reason when we play with mouse and keyboard, our brain adapts and we learn to improve our aim with the mouse, but we don't do this with the controller, we just asume that we're bad at the game and there's nothing we can do about it except play more until we get good. But we don't actually train for it. It's like we try to lift a car, we can't and them come the next day to try and lift again, when what we should actually do is train in a efficient way in different manners so in time we can end up lifting the car. So weird. I started to train my aim with the controller in aimlab for about an hour and the improvement was astounding

@@ksaveras_n9393 ive played cs 1.6 whole my childhood and then i played csgo, pubg and fortnite, all together a lot of time put into shooters, and i have around 700 hours on apex i think, im pc d4 i drop 4k dmg occasionally and i think im bad af, but not so long ago i thought that only practicing and time wont make me better bcs i need talent.. i was wrong.. u have to play and u have to want to improve, u have to educate urself, watch pros, learn recoils, practice aim and basically play a lot.. u expect urself to be at pro level but were you literally grinding apex every single day since release like they did? no, u didnt.. and i didnt either and now we r sulking.. it doesnt work like that.. it does happen tho, i know a guy that plays apex for only a month or 2 and is already master, better than me a lot, but he is a proffessional csgo player.. hes spent a lot of time on fps.. game sense and aim transfers when u switch to another game, it doesnt disappear from ur brain just because its different game.. and btw u cant know how many hours has extesy spent on apex, maybe he played on pc for a long time then switched to apex, or maybe not, but 7k hours is a lot anyways so... just play, practice, be consistant.. what separates us bad players and them pros is, when they thought they were bad and they were getting shit on, they pushed through it and kept trying and playing... now it can be rough i know especially if ur on 60hz 50fps like i am but imagine how good ur gonna play on 144 hz if u can drop 4k dmg sometimes

@@dzopix you mentioned a friend of yours who doesn't play much, but he's master. Yet he is a pro on another game, so that's understandable. What if I told you a friend of mine who's not a pro, he plays less than me, doesn't even hit the range, gets to master solo queueing? He's not a Pred. He has to work 6/7 days so he can't grind. Most of the time he's too tired to play, but he's still cracked at it. I hit the range, practice the recoil, watch pro streamers, both on ranked and comps. I still can't focus in game. I suffer from anxiety and Apex makes me feel overwhelmed. I feel like someone is squeezing my heart and lungs with his hands. It's like having a weight on my chest and my hands tremble. This doesn't happen with other games. Only on Apex. Not to mention GoldenBoy had 70k kills in 8k matches, while I've got 8k kills on 9k matches. So, after 1k matches, he was better than I am now with 9k. I know grinding gives results. It just doesn't give the same results to everyone, given the same amount of effort. I reached my limit due to my lack of reflexes/coordination and my anxiety condition. I used to be decent on CoD with m&k back in the day. Maybe if I were 10 years younger and I had a good pc, I would have been decent enough to get to diamond. But now I'm old, anxious and I play on a shitty ps4 with a 43" 4k TV. It means I see everything blurred without optics cause ps4 res is 1080p and the TV upscaling is shitty.
