I learn to fly in 1975, I was a radio DJ and the airport was next to the Hotel where the station was. As I was learning you switch instructors and there was this very young guy that started in the school. I got marry and never saw him again. To my surprise I found him on Facebook and my yaw dropped down to the floor when I saw the photo of him coming out of the windows of this same plane. He is an Airbus A380 Captain! for Emirates!

Emirates and Airbus planes especially the A380 are a match made in heaven,truly spectacular to watch that beast of the skies made a flawless touch down thanks for sharing.Had the opportunity to be a passenger on an Airbus 380 a couple of years ago flying from Sydney to Doha and until you get on board of one of these bad boys will you fully appreciate the massive size of this plane still one of the highlights of my flying experience.😊

We flew from London to SF on 747 and back on 380 and to be honest, we were perfectly happy with both. Upstairs on the 747 was a fantastic experience. BC on the 380 was a tad posher but service was the same.

I lived near Toulouse and they flew the A380 over my house the night before the maiden flight. It was midnight and it frightened me to death. A few friends who worked at Airbus were invited to be on the maiden flight.

Thanks for this video. Loved the children´s enthusiasm! A few years ago I watched testflights of brandnew examples of this majestetic aircraft at Hamburg-Finkenwerder, where Airbuses get their finish. Hard to believe that more than 500 tons can be lifted up that smooth way.

Being British myself I have a north London accent. We all sound different because each region has a different accent. Even the north and south London both have different accents. The Airbus flew over my head recently, when I was sitting in my garden here in Richmond. I thought at the time it was a huge plane and the noise was incredible but living here you get used to the noise and it only bothers me when they switch the runways and it’s right overhead.

Strange international airport. Only one taxiway off the runway at the very end, no real retaining walls to keep sound in and avoid runoff to civilian areas, no sign of terminals or other airport stuff anywhere. It looks like they landed in a big park.
