So fun fact about S-2: All-Imperfect Love Song (the dating sim) Hakita was more or less suffering from the same thing Mirage was around the time this was written - crippling, will-to-live-draining existential dread. The entire thing could be considered an internal dialogue from Hakita to himself as he fought against his own Nihilistic fears, and while naturally such dread will never simply disappear... You can always fight it, and search for the light in the darkness.

Ah yes, ultrakill. My favorite action fps-horror-puzzle-visual novel-platforming-fishing sim-cleaning simulator game which has sandcastles as nukes and hampters that can decimate a universe. you didnt miss many secrets, if at all. however there are many out of bounds tricks that were removed, but the manually added back by the dev for the speedrun community, that each have a little funny message. "What's updoor?" -T. HAKITA. (0-2) "The filth are gone, but the memory remains." -T. HAKITA. (4-3) "Pipe clip lives" -T. HAKITA. (0-1) there are many more but these aer my faves

So a neat little easter egg is the "Frog (?)" in the Fishing Mini game is the creature seen in Iron Lung, which is developed by the dude who made Dusk. And Iron Lung has "Blood Oceans" so the fact that thing ("Frog") can only be caught in Lower Bloods is a neat detail.

idk if chat told you about core nuke yet(didnt see you mention it in either ultrakill vid(also im assuming youve cleared p-1 already so hm)) but basically while shooting the core with a hitscan leads to a bigger explosion, specifically shooting it with a malicious railcannon leads to... more explosive results. also if you are curious enough there is a 18min video by herbmessiah on coin mechanics, geniunely the reason why i even started playing this game.
