The comments on the flash are definitely right there was ventilation at the front and then the forcible entry at the side. Once that door was open the flow path was made and it drew all that hot gas in where it flashed. The comment about the 105 PSI emptying the truck as well, comes down to simply amount rather than pressure you were using a 4 or 5" to supply the ground monitor that is going to take more water quicker than a tiny little 1.75" at a higher pressure. The UK philosophy is the larger the line the lower the pressure, our 22mm hose reel is charged at 35 bar where as a 20mm (2.5") can be 10-15 bar or less depending on the circumstances. That brush engine could definitely empty that portable tank, what you need to keep in mind is if you overfill the tank the truck is going to start dumping water so the tank doesn't burst. In the UK we've got a little dump valve on the bottom of the truck where the water can exit and I know you Yanks have exposed tank tops which essentially bubble over to release the water into the hose bed. So what should've happened was refill the tank shut the tank to pump and then open it again when you started the attack, personally I would've just daisy chained the tanker to the engine and then have the tanker draw it's water from the dump tank.

The flash over occurred because you left the front door open. The opening of the door during your search also contributed to the flash over. You may want to VEIS the rooms and leave the fire room isolated in the future if you don't have an attack line to cool the thermal layer.

Exactly right. I dont think the game mechanics are too terribly involved as far as that but maybe a simple trigger if a exterior door is left open or not.

Could the flash at the start been because you left the front door open? With the broken window there would have been a potential for a lot of airflow when you opened the bedroom door. Interesting game

Probably, he open the door of the bedroom and the window are open/broken, soo he give more O2 for the fire, high temp of the build, probably the bedroom have high temp from the irradiation from next room, perfect combination for a flashover 🔥

I think so with the main ingredient of the game's mechanics for flash over being an exterior opening. I'm really not sure how in depth the fire mechanics go, in game, as far as fuel, oxygen, heat, airflow, etc. I wouldn't think it would go crazy in depth with that, but I am wondering if just having some kind of opening to the outside, whether it's a door or window, increases your chance for the flashover trigger to pop. I'm assuming the game may not even take interior doors into consideration. It's all just about how the game mechanics work which is more than likely very different from real life. Though a 1 to 1 recreation of fire dynamics would be really sweet.

I had a massive fire earlier that on into the flames and damn thing was a pain in the butt to get out. It was only on the roof and I couldn't enter the building at all.

Worst one I've had was the big hotel fire on Canton County map. It took me something like 40 min to get that fire under control.

You have a lot of videos that I still need to go back and watch so it may be covered already.
