This is a really good cam video, which is why JYP put it on their channel. But this is university festival season in Korea, and it seems like NMIXX was at all of them. There are cams of them performing live this past week all over KZbin. If you want to check out one more, there's the "jean shorts" performance. It was on May 24, so look for the date 240524 in the titles. I think the most popular cam is on the Spinel Cam channel. It's a statement performance (in my opinion).

In Dash choreography they didn't change the part of Kyujin for stability but because they are using hand mics and that step requires Kyujin's hand back grabbing Lilly

For the benefit of overseas fans: Korea University is one of the top 3 universities in Korea, and its festival is one of the most famous university festivals in the country. During the Dice performance, Bae shouted 'Goryodae', which is one of the abbreviations of Korea Univ in Korean. Just before singing Dash, the members whispered 'Goryo-dae-sh' repeatedly by modifying 'Dash' to "Goryo-dae-sh'. The audience laughed during Dash because Haewon changed the lyrics from 'the place we reach is you (bal-dat-nun-got-en geu-dae)' to "the place we reach is Korea Univ (bal-dat-nun-got-en Go-Dae)". Go Dae is the shortest abbreviation of Korea University in Korean.

the fan chants 🔥🔥🔥 the sungkyunkwan uni stage is pretty much the same set list, but the camera angles are different/closer up. fan chants are much louder and you are able to hear their reactions too! esp at sullyoon's high note something happened during their shinhan university dice performance if you were interested in that, they killed it there too! i hope they gain a lot more fans from all these university performances thanks for the video!!

This was part of a festival run, it's fun because every performance sounds a bit different with the truly live vocals, and different ad libs. Last week at the Seoul Festa, you can see the mayor of Seoul in the audience with a huge smile watching them.

Jiwoo won't be mistaken as Kyujin again, but she is getting mistaken as Lily LMAO There's another one where during Dice. the backtrack got cutoff and Kyujin did the laugh at the end, and it's exactly the same lol speaking of Lily, she's feeling herself during the end of Sonar lol. One reason I think why Haewon can't dance fully is if you look at her knees at some point during the video. her knees was bleeding.

For those of you who have been following NMIXX and their performances, I'm going to show you something that I've only seen happen with this group. In this last appearance they made at a festival (on the 27th), there was a moment that went viral where, in the middle of DICE's performance, there were technical problems and the instrumentals turned off, so they concluded the rest of the performance in acappella. Do you believe that, for people to come up with a reason to hate the group, there was a small and noisy percentage of people claiming that they "faked" this problem just to be able to go viral with their "incredible vocals". Seriously, I'm not making it up. It's worth remembering that these technical problems are even common in kpop, but the girls performed so well that people preferred to invent a conspiracy theory rather than really believe that, yes, there are talented idols. The funniest thing is that this only affected people who aren't part of the fandom, because those who are part of the fandom know that what's most common is them singing acappella, whether during training or at random moments. I only saw this happen being in the NMIXX fandom (and I grew up in the EXO fandom!). It's laughing so you don't cry. To give you an idea of how crazy this persecution is, the last tantrum they had with the girls was them trying to "forbid" them from singing other idols' songs live (on youtube itself). The reason? It's just that the group was "consciously insinuating shade" to other groups, and that they are so desperate for attention to go viral by "humiliating" other idols. Yes, people are blatantly suggesting that girls sing better than their idols. It's bizarre. And they use it as an attack. NMIXX is the only group where haters constantly remind us that idols from their “enemy fandom" are extremely talented. It's unbelievable. I've never laughed so much being part of a fandom.

Yoooooo let’s gooooo. Been waiting all week for you to watch this! This week has been truly incredible, my absolute favorite era since being an NSWER from day 1. Seeing them get so much appreciation and love from all the uni festival crowds and their viral moment when the music died and they finished the whole song acapella with full choreo makes me so damn happy and proud.

The Kyujin/Jiwoo confusion (IMO) has cleared up in this past year or so as the two have further grown and matured, but their "twinning" was very much a real thing in the early days. (I used to joke that Chaeyeon famously left JYPE because of some policy that they wouldn't allow family members to both debut, allowing her sister Chaeryeong a better opportunity....then JYPE straight up allowed twins (Kyujin/Jiwoo) to be in the same group.) The confusion certainly wasn't helped by the stylists regularly styling their hair, makeup, and wardrobe similarly often, and the dog/cat duo very regularly pairing up. Though, those side-by-side pairings did afford us plenty of opportunity to press our faces up to our screens to scrutinize who was who. What REALLY didn't help matters was how the stylists would often flip-flop their hair styling back and forth. So you'd settle on so-and-so is doing the long ponytail this era, and the other is doing twin tails....and then the next day you seem them, they've swapped hair styles, and you're mixed up all over again. The eye shape used to be the key differentiator, but especially recently, Jiwoo's smile has gotten so much bigger and brighter. Everything else aside, I think that's become her signature visual trait. Positively radiant. Whereas, it seems like Kyujin leans towards a smolder or small-opening smile for her go-to facials.
