What a CRAZY Game..

OK Guys, it's time to take a look at the game last night between the Montréal Canadiens and the Detroit Red Wings.. The Wings won this game by a score of 5-4 in OT.. But there was no shortage of Drama and Action! Whatta crazy game, lets take a look!

Awesome? YES! I would've LOVED to see him float it over to Suzuki who was waiting to blast home a one-timer! That woulda been JUST as sweet! By keeping the puck and trying to score he took himself and Suz out of the play and left Anderson as the last man back. Either way, I LOVED what I saw from Lane last night. No jitters. Looked like a natural.

Just to add, with the Habs not doing plays-off for the cup, I'll be cheering and happy to watch other Canadian teams play : Canucks and Jets are my favs. I don't have an opinion about the Oilers and I don't like Leafs too much. Yup. He was underpaid for yrs, & now overpaid, but still trying his best until the next injuries. In addition to non-stop leadership. Rarely suspended, but faced the music for that mistake; suspension + tiny fight/wrestling.

I REALLY would've like to see Hutson pass to the captain SUZ in OT there for the one-timer. Suzuki was waiting, expecting it, but it didn't come. Instead he kept it and tried to win it himself, but to his credit he did put himself in a fantastic position to shoot. BUT, the result was it was saved, play was breaking out the other way, and Anderson is the closest to being the last man back because the center Suzuki was all the way behind the net by the time Lane took the shot. Overall though, I really really loved what I saw in his FIRST game! That little shuffle he pulled at the blueline on his first assist are what all great offensive D-men are doing well in the league today. Making strong percentage plays at the blue line that only few defenseman can make with complete confidence! And again! In his FIRST GAME! I'm so sad that we only have 2 games to watch what this kid can do in this league. But super stoked for next year when we get KIRBY back and some 2nd and 3rd line combos set. Not to mention Seeing what the packed defense situation is gonna look like. Super excited. But PATIENCE!

Re-Hutson, Matheson is faster, bigger, and stronger, of course Hutson is a super hyped skilled newbie, but so are most of the Hab's D. More telling in the stats is that Baron is becoming more physical, having more hits than most D in the line-up and the best plus minus at +1. I want to see Logan M. ...we like his size, grit and his pro stats. I don't think the Habs have room for a power play specialist who is too small for the 5 on 5 when it gets gritty. Their best young D are 6'-2+" with reach, weight, and wheels for the big game, like Vegas has now. Certain rosters are built to win. Adam Engstrom will surprise everyone when he gets to Laval next year.

If the first line works a little better, MTL should win tonight. In any case, if MTL doesn't finish Detroit's chances tonight, I'm 99% confident Capital will win their game which makes the Wings Habs game irrelevant. Mind you, I'd rather see Crosby play, probably, one last time in the playoffs in a Pens uniform which would imply both Wings and Caps to lose their games (in reg or ot) and Pens win their final game. The mistake Montreal made this year was once we werenout what was that 3 weeks aftwr the start of the season? Joke but at the end of the season all our yoing guys should have been playing the last what 8, 9 games with hopes experience yes but we needed loses not freaking wins.
