Only brand to trust is 3M. Their windshield/ door window cleaner is fabulous. Living were dirt blows and sticks to the window. Headlight kit is just as good. Removes all yellow. Pretty much the same style kit you just tried

im in florida I used Turtle wax headlight restoration kit which was just a mild polishing compound and little bits of sandpaper it worked. however, it did not last. it doesn't have a sealer UV protector with it. it just takes off the faded part or the yellow one part. I think you can use a 2K spray high gloss spray paint and it would work beautifully because it would have the protection added on to it seal or whatever. my daughter she lives up in Iowa and she's used that cerakote and she said it worked phenomenal and it's still holding up and it's been it's been 3 and 1/2 months said it took a bit to do the sanding to get years of yellow out but they do look amazing. heard 3ms kit is good just tales more cure time Im going to try the cerakote one or will use the 3m light polishing compound I have on hand and work my way up using a different sandpapers and use a 2K urethane rattle can clear higj gloss

Thanks Mike! I only ever used some polishing compound to get the heavy fogging out.

I used Cerakote headlight restoration on my bmw headlights and it did a great job. Very easy to use.

You have to buff that after you sand it just use buffing compound and water in a spray bottle

Hey Mike, in regards to Cerakote. I would probably use something else. I used their product on my trims, and it ruined them. Has to be wet sanded off. Won't ever use any product from them again. The headlight restoration kit might work, but I would never try it. Regards from Denmark
