The delight on your face while Ren sings says everything. His voice transended his words necessitating going back to listen to the message which you interpreted so well. Ren refers to Chinchilla as his musical sibling and their collabs are amazing. Chinchilla is a rabbit hole you need to fall into head first, take that dive as her voice is mind-blowing. Even though she's signed, she's considered independent the way her contract was structured. Fantastic reaction as expected and I look forward to so many more that will hopefully include all of Ren's friends and collaborators each amazing in their own right. Beautiful guitar intro❤

Ren is very occasionally played on BBC Radio 6 and Radio 1, but not often I don't think. I've heard rumours that he's doing a Radio 1 'Fire in the Booth' set, or may be soon. I don't often listen to the radio but I'll check that out if it happens. He's not very mainstream as yet, but hopefully he'll get there. I heard 'Humble' coming from a house across from me while I was waiting for the bus the other day, but I only know 1 other Ren fan that I didn't introduce him to.

In a matter of a few reactions, you have quickly become a reactor that I truly look forward, and one of the rare few that I rewatch, just because there is something incredibly soothing about your presence, and maybe it's how gentle you are with the creation of another, you listen and allow yourself to be vulnerable as you take it in, and that is incredibly comforting to me, being able to see others feeling similarly about something I've come to love, so thank you for another great reaction, and not to mention, sharing that bit at the beginning of you playing, you sounded great!

❤❤❤Fantastic intro and reaction!! Can't wait for more! I recommend for songs that show off his vocal range you choose his Fred Again mashup (where he takes 5 EDM songs by Fred Again and mashes them into 1 acoustic song), Wade in the Water/Troubles so hard by him and his band The Big Push live, I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/ Hip Hop again by The Big Push (pick the one where Ren is wearing the Red Suspenders/braces as its the best version) and Back on 74/Message in a Bottle Retake where Ren sings his version of these two songs by Jungle and The Police. All are fantastic ❤ With regards to Sick Boi, once you've listened to it, make sure to watch a 30 odd minute video Ren made about what happened this year. Then ...and only then, I suggest watching Kujo Beatdown bc otherwise it may be difficult to understand what's going on. ❤ Here is the link to Ren's explanation kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWiVkpWagr-VfaMsi=Sq2jFQetk5rGg00C

Ren also has fun songs, as well as rap. Back on 74/Message in a Bottle Retake, Murderer video AND live acoustic versions (you should do them back- to- back), Money Ties, Power, Illest of Our Time, The Hunger, For Joe, and Bittersweet Symphony acoustic version. After that, try some of his catalog with the band The Big Push! After that, go back to many earlier songs of his. His range has no end!

Beautiful guitar playing at the start of this one brother. I subscribed a few videos back becuse I can see in your reactions the same impact that Ren's music has had on so many of us and it brought me great joy watching your smile slowly creeping from ear to ear with this track. So glad you enjoyed it and got to learn about just how talented Ren is vocally. I can recommend Ren's live performance of How to Be Me with Chinchilla to hear just how good they both are at controlling their vocals and one of the most haunting and beautiful tracks I've ever heard; and for me that's really saying somehting as I adore Thom Yorke and Radiohead for their haunting beauty in their music. I always look forward to your next reactions and after Sick Boy I would consider Ren's song Cruth feat. Bibi. Another sung and vocally haunting track that seems to somehow capture the essential essence of what it's like being stuck in the middle of life altering depression. Have a wonderful Christmas and new year brother.

It's as though I can feel the music touching your soul. It is a joy and a privilege to be sharing your journey into Ren. I believe you will connect with his story and his message to humanity. He released 8 'chapters' telling his story, with tracks accompanying them. He is a great story teller. In answer to your question, no Ren is not played on the radio in the UK. His music is too layered for the mainstream media, and some of his messaging too true for a world driven by money. To quote Ren though... 'Everything is subject to change We could build utopias if individuals were taught to use their brains'

I must say your guitar playing was wonderful and a nice surprise. Now for the lyrics in Rens song, I get it! My world is upside down right now. When I begin to think things were better or getting better and might stay OK, something happens. I am constantly waiting for the next shoe to drop, or the shit to hit the fan. Right now shoes and shit is tangled up in a big fan, it's a mess. Right now it's even worse, so I no longer wish for a perfect beautiful day, because I don't want to ruin it. I don't anticipate but I will dream of a day, but keep my expectations very low.

Beautiful Jenny/Screech guitar intro and reaction. This song also hit me “like a frikkin’ truck!” as you said and it helped me take stock of how I was dealing with depression and anxiety. I now try better to use more tools in my toolbox to deal with the storms life throws at us. That was almost two years ago. 🥰 Sick Boi is a good choice as it is the title track from his hiphop album and is another showcase of this swiss-army knife of an artist. As for Chinchilla, she is also a force of nature and Ren calls her his musical sibling. I highly recommend you check out anything with her name on it! There are many incredible paths to follow for more of Ren’s many talents, including the phenomenal band called The Big Push! Ren’s first viral song is called “Blind Eyed” and he recorded it with his friend Sam Tompkins, who is another multi-talented artist. There are several incredible live versions that are all fantastic. I always opt for LIVE versions when it comes to anything with any of these artists. They invariably will knock your socks off! It’s really a new British Invasion! Cheers from California! 💔❤️🩹❤️

Loved your guitar intro! There's also a more produced version of this song with a beautifully simple arrangement. It should have been a massive radio hit, as should their other song to date, How to be Me. They have two more songs coming soon on Ren's new Slaughter House album. I don't listen to music radio these days, so I couldn't tell you if he is starting to get some airtime yet. If you're going to tackle Kujo Beatdown, I would suggest you react to Sick Boi first, followed by Ren's explanation video as to why Sick Boi was taken down, not necessarily to react to, but for context. Kujo Beatdown also references another fantastic song you haven't heard yet, Money Game Part 3, but it won't affect your understanding too much and you can go back and fill in the gaps later. For a fantastic example of Ren's vocal range (in terms of pitch) check out Earned it/Man's World/Falling with Sam Tompkins, a long time friend and musical collaborator with a voice like butter. You might be interested to watch Ren's video Diazepam, which is the generic name for Valium, so related to anxiety.
