One my all time favourite bands as well. Seen them 3 times now. The last time at Deniliquin Blues Festival when it was on where we got to meet them all. What a fabulous open air that was. John Mayer, Steve Earl, Dr.John, Met them all. They finished their sets and we got to talk to them after. So sad it never lasted more than 3 years. Didn't like Michael McDonalds contribution to the Doobies though. They turned into a pop band and lost that edge but man they sure got it back at Deni. They came down from Byron to do their one night set.

I've heard the Doobie Brother's Live & at the Concert I attended, they sounded dreadful. Any Band/Artist, is only as a good as their last Live Performance, because anyone can sound perfect in a Studio. The main issue with the Doobie Brothers, IMHO, was their terrible Audio Engineer, it was hard to clearly distinguish vocals, because they were drowned out by Drums/Bass/Guitar. That's a lazy Audio Engineer, or a probably deaf one. Proof of theory, the band Foreigner played after them, with a different Audio Engineer & he did an amazing job & Lou Gramm's voice was perfect, it was such a pleasure to hear him in his prime.

An equally good cover band is the Lexington Lab Band. Check 'em out.

@@rcharding wow! Thanks for the recommendation. Just listened to Lyin’ Eyes...it was awesome!

@@DJMeCa My general distinction between the two is that the Aussie band is more pop-oriented whereas the Kentucky band leans more toward rock. Check out their version of Boston. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j32sgJ58e5Vjidk

Every comment has expressed what is perfection about this presentation. I hope you all realise the joy you bring to everyone with your musical abilities, your passion, your creativity and the obvious enjoyment you have in entertaining your fans. Add to that you all live in my hometown . So proud. 💗😎😁🥂🍾🥇

You said that so well! I envy that you can see them live -- can't wait until they perform in the USA!

Robin Piller I am yet to see them live Robin. I live interstate and we are in semi lockdown because of Covid and I can't cross the border just yet. I think they have a live concert in October in Adelaide, so hopefully I can get there. In any event, I love that I can dance around the house while glancing at their KZbin vids!

@@robinpiller2 I'll fly there if they don't get here first! :) Luckily I have their three albums on iTunes to listen to when I'm not on KZbin!

@@theglowskingirl, ahhh, sorry to hear this. Visited Australia in 2012 -- the Sunshine Coast in QLD so I know the country is huge. People don't realize that the USA could fit inside of Australia! It was a great trip! Once pandemic eases, hope they come to perform in Las Vegas or closer!

I was wondering what the lead vocalist Dusty was going to do with that guitar... was not disappointed. Also it seems the more covers of this classic Doobie Brothers number the quicker the tempo. Nice :)
