Dear sister, what you mentioned is related to the Old Testament times. If you recall Jesus told the Samaritan woman at the well (John 4:21 to 24) that the hour cometh when ye shall neither in this mountain nor at Jerusalem worship the Father.....the hour cometh and now is when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth for the Father seekers such to worship Him.God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Also if you read 1 Corinthians 3:16,17 and 4:19,20 you will understand that every true child of God is the temple of God and the Spirit of God now dwells in each one of us. We are now the temple of God. So it does not matter whether you wear shoes or not the main thing is that we have to keep our inner being sanctified because God dwells in each one of us who are the temple of God. Church is not the building but Church is wherever His disciples or followers gather together. Please note I am not connected to this church nor have I seen any one of them however I am just explaining the truth to you in humility and reverence of God Almighty the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
