What a Job, Guion Sand Mine, Underground and above ground mining.

This is a job I had back in 2012. Very interesting and very dangerous job. At that time, I was told that there are over 60 miles underground, and that the mine reached back into the mountain 3 miles. When this mine opened in the 1930s sand was brought down by mules pulling big wagons.
