In order to live in a camper, you have to become a mechanic, a plumber and an electrician as well as a carpenter! Yhen is doing very well so far! She's a natural 🙂

@@realistictruckcamping2779 9703, I see, I recon? But I do not see the cabs weight transferred through shackles to truck springs to 9703? I am no engineer? Was looking at different hellwigs myself. They looked different with four u-bolts per side? I'm no engineer.

@@bassinc3039 This particular model has 2 thick leaf helper springs with two u-bolts per side. They did stiffen up the ride but failed to add height to the rear end. I will probably have to add air-bags to achieve that goal.

We are gettingnready to put some on our F250..we have a lance camper with sway bar and airbags..what were your thoughts after you put them on did it make a difference?? Didnt see a follow up video.

Honestly I would have to say that they were a waste of time and money. The right way to do it is to have a spring shop build up your spring pack. I wish I had airbags and a heavier swaybar. Money is tight right now. Thanks for watching! 🙂

@@gofish8181 This exact model number was recommended to me over the phone by a technician at Hellwig in California. It is the right one for our vehicle. Unfortunately, our camper is just too heavy, there was no increase in curb height. Basically it added two leaves to the existing overload spring which was just one leaf. I would have been better off with a new heavier spring pack. I was quoted $1100 for that by Skip's Spring Service in Las Vegas. Good luck setting up your rig!

Too bad about the Timbrens, Martin I hear people like them. My (used) F350 came with Firestone Riderite airbags, and I like them because with the camper off I can let all but 5 psi out and my ride returns to factory. About 90 psi with my camper on feels good. I don't think you'll need airbags since you have the extra springs now. Good teamwork there.
