The aurora timelapses were amazing. It must be great to live in or be able to travel to dark sky areas in Scotland where the colours are so vivid. I have seen the lights in Tromso and Iceland, but never thought in a million years there would an opportunity to photograph them from Dechmont Law in Livingston, just a ten minute walk from my house. It happened on December 1st last year and my fear is that it may never happen again. Still, my daughter has talked me into going back to Iceland in November, so my fingers are crossed for experiencing at least one big show.

Haha, dude! This must have probably been you best month of astro this year! Snow Aurora, the adventures... absolutely stunning! Really enjoyed this one! Kind of makes me want to 'visit Scotland' 😁👍

Cairngorms is a great place. We were there last week, and Loch Morlich was frozen over. Looked great. Thanks for the video

Cheers Murray! Yes looking forward to seeing your Aurora camp video as I saw your story that night that u saw the Aurora too! And thankfully the best view of the place was like 50m away from the ruins so didn’t have to go face to face with them 😂

That was an excellent episode. And good luck with all your commissions. Visit Scotland got a real bargain with the Aurora thrown into their Time Lapses.😀 As for your batteries and woes of them dying on you, have you ever considered using Dummy Batteries to power your cameras? I use Sony NP batteries which are fairly cheap on Amazon and come in different capacities. The NP batteries plug into a Battery Adapter from companies like Smallrig or Blind Spot Gear. I have a Blind Spot Adapter which allows me to power my camera well over four hours, and power a USB Lens Warmer at the same time. I just duct tape the Adapters to my tripod.
