in today's episode of Farming life at la forge, dad gets me my first set of wheels with a custom number plate. Then we all set of on a "mission" to convoy a big load through narrow french roads home. Later we will put our first cows and calves up into the new pens.

I moved a boat from Le Harve to Rouen. Got off ferry Sat night stopped at ferry port till Monday. No non perishable loads allowed to travel on Sundays. Previously we had lodged a convoy exceptional route plan with police, 600 euro. It cannot include motorways just bye roads. On Monday we met Pilot who travels in front to guide us 500 euro. He did not know the area as they tramp living in the van starting where they finished last, all round the country.

Its amazing to watch a family who dont speak the language had limited farming experience buying a farm and starting a business from scratch .....meanwhile young irish farmers handed a farm tax free never stop complianing

Was expecting to see the camera pan to some roller skates or a skateboard tbh…maybe a barrow could be paired with a skateboard for extra functionality, could be a world first 🤔😁
