Love the wallpaper you picked out for your office/craft space!! It's adorable. It will be a fun and joyful place for you to work in. I'm 75 and I have set specific and measurable goals for myself for about 20 years. I enjoy the process and have learned that sometimes I can't reach them, but I do try. At this stage in my life, the goals center around getting out of my comfort zone by reading more, trying new recipes, visiting new areas, etc.

Hiii missy, Happy new year 🎉🎉🎉 I definitely need to slow down. I've been working 2 jobs outside the home for a while now. I have my long time job I've been at for 28yrs . Then the second job I've been at for 2 yrs working retail. It's been a busy time for sure. I'm finding that I cannot work 7 days a week anymore. I need days off. I have 1 day off in the week and that tends to be just as busy trying to catch up on home "work" 😂 I always find peace and calm watching your videos missy. It also makes me want to go thrifting 😂. I live vicariously through you! Lol Thank you so much for the friendship. ❤❤❤

Missy, I so understand you wanting to slow down and enjoy the moment... getting overwhelmed with a hobby is not good! I would ask you to reconsider your ironstone again. Go through one by one and make sure you want to let it go. I too collect chickens and years ago decided I need to change my decor. So many held special memories, so I packed them away and I'm so glad I did, because they're back on the shelves in my kitchen again. Everyone was surprised I still had them. It sounds like you're going to be doing more reselling, since you're considering adding space. Watching thrifting and styling is my favorite videos. I wish you well in your endeavors. Do whatever brings you joy. Do rethink before you jump into getting rid of your ironstone. It sure looked pretty in the cabinet! Happy 2025!

Hi Missy, I have to share that I’ve been following since you started collecting antiques on your channel. I’m so glad you decided to come back. I come here because I like You! But also I like vintage, thrifting, decor. It’s so much fun. My word for the year is fulfillment..I picked up a book from the thrift store on the art of Hygee that is really helping me in finding a state of peace. Many times I watch your videos while I work and use headphones. The only thing I could possibly suggest is that at times it’s hard to hear what your saying in the stores and I end up turning up the volume, but when the commercials come on I throw my headphones into Nancy’s hair across the room 😂 just kidding. But it does blast out rather loudly. Kinda hard when you’re shopping though I’m sure. Love your videos ❤

Missy, I am so, so pleased to hear all of this! I had started worrying that you might start feeling overwhelmed with all you were doing and all you were accumulating, and that you'd leave us again! I love that you are being selective about what you collect, so that it all gives you the feeling of contentment. Way back when you had your KZbin channel before, I made a comment that I felt that if we lived close, we'd be friends. I am old enough to be your mom, but I have always felt a connection in spirit to you. I hope this isn't coming across as weird (LOL). I really love the things you decided to keep when you purged your curio cabinet. Those are the items that seemed to really bring you the feeling of joy when you found them. I also think you looked beautiful and relaxed in this video. I love the cross necklace and your t-shirt. I am a Christian, and my word this year is "light". Happy New Year! I LOVE your hair long! It's funny but when I was younger I felt like I HAD to blow dry my hair and wear makeup if I were going out. As I've gotten older I love that if I want to blow dry, I do and if I want to just throw it in a messy pony that's just fine too. I'm also on a quest to declutter and simplify. How nice you have a booth and don't have to deal with marketplace or trying to sell them somewhere else! xo Ellen

I am trying to give myself more time to get things accomplished. I am trying small goals for each week. This week I "Spring cleaned" my storage room and put away my Christmas decor. I still have a few things to do tomorrow but I like not feeling so pressured to get done. Im also getting rid of things as I clean.

Sounds like you have a good plan for 2025. If you only shopped for your booth, that wouldn't bother me. I think what I enjoy the most is just going along with you when you shop. It doesn't matter who you shop for. What I have noticed with KZbin videos is that you don't really get to enjoy the current holiday as you seem to have to decorate so early and than even before the holiday is over, on to decorating for the next..... I'm still enjoying the current decor, not really wanting to have to think about something that is coming in the future. Not sure why that works with KZbin, but I'm sure there is pressure if others are doing it. Like I have told you before, anything that you give to us is enjoyable. Just listening to you relaxes me, that might be weird to say but its true. Just do what works best for you and I'll still be here to be part of it! Your lipstick color was a good choice for you. Missy,first of all "Happy New Year"to you and yours.Second,you look lovely!!Your makeup and hair look great!!!Third,I think you definitely have the right idea for yourself and the rush with utube people!!!To be honest ,it kind of drives me crazy!!!!!!!Everybody is copying everybody so they won't look like they are behind in any way!The times are crazy and we all(no matter what age) need to calm down and slow down some.Unfortunately just driving a car sometimes shows us how the world has changed.You do YOU !!!!!!I have a son your age and another a little younger and I wish they would "slow down "!By the way,NEVER be sorry you have thick hair!!!!Trust me,in my early 70's that is a problem I wish I had!!!Have a great week!!!😁🎉👍
