I was at that gig in 1996 with my then fiancé who I married a year later. We had this song as our song and was played as the first wedding dance song. As for that concert, I have seen every megastar of the era including Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi etc etc and NO ONE got even close to that performance that night. Easily the best gig I have ever been to. That video still gives me goosebumps and brings me to tears!! I have never seen Wembley so full, front to back and side to side, normally there is space right at the back on the pitch like all the other gigs there but not this one. Keith Scott’s lead guitar was note perfect. Absolutely one of the best songs ever written.

One of my favorite songs. Love Bryan's voice. Love the beginning when the crowd sang this song before he started and seeing his response. Thank you for your reaction.

I would say he is one of the most genuine musicians out there. And yes, warm is totally the right word. Having been to quite a few of his shows, he truly does connect to the audience brilliantly and naturally. And there are very few musiciand I've seen live who truly make you feel they're singing to you personally, but Bryan is definitely one of them (and I'm sure every single person in the audience feels that way). Also, a shoutout to Keith Scott one of the most phenomenal and underrated guitarists of all time.

I have a friend that when you interact with him he is slightly introverted When he straps on a guitar and gets on stage he changes into a rock and roll animal. Guitar straight into an amp and rips it up. Every now and then he will set his guitar on fire. Years ago I owned his 74 Gibson SG old smokey.

I had the pleasure of seeing him in concert at the Gorge in Washington during the 90's. Great songs, great performance and an amazing band with Keith Scott on Guitar. So much fun. This is my favorite song of his, too. Others are "This Time", "Run To You" , of course Summer of 69. This Brian thinks that Bryan Rocks! Oh and, I remember playing his cassettes in my car on dates and with friends back in the day. Real good albums to play when you're with that special lady - trying to let her know you think she's special to you.

You’re so right about his vibe - he’s so humble and doesn’t do this for fame or anything like that. He just likes music, he likes to sing and perform and interact with his crowd. And he’s really down to earth. You don’t hear too much about his personal life. He’s just keeping it to himself and it’s all about his work. I met him and the lead guitarist Keith once by chance after a concert, and they both were so nice and talked with genuine interest. Very warm and nice people. Heaven has never been my favourite Bryan’s song, but it is very well written, I must admit. It’s almost too classic for me. I don’t know how to explain it. Great reaction. It was a great concert. I listened to it live on radio back then, having been to my first of his concerts just few months prior to this Wembley gig.

You know Anton I've said this many times before but you have so much love and respect from me, from all of us. Bryan Adams has been one of my musical idols for so many years, and when I saw this from you, well let's just say this makes me love you even more brotha. This is the kind of music that brings all of us together.

Love him! Yeah, when the crowd sings part of the song you know they love the song. I love the passionate singers the most. If you would be this kind of frontman, you would be a lot like Bryan (and Bono, btw too as you will see). At Live Aid, a couple of times he was kind of trying to push a camera to pan to the crowd, make them the focus instead of him. I think Rod Stewart may be like that too, charismatic and drawing the crowd in (not sure though). That's a little different from Bryan and Bono though - drawing the crowd in is not the same thing as putting yourself into the crowd, wanting to connect with them rather than wanting them to connect to you. I saw one of U2 With or Without You, one of their biggest you haven't heard yet, where the crowd sang the first half of the song - two minutes of it 😲 and it was at a 2015 performance so almost 30 years after the song was popular. My favorites of Bryan Adams' are Summer of '69 and (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, and Straight From The Heart.

Oh, the 80s. Great time to be a child. No Internet, but zillions of awesome songs. Here in Brazil this song was part of the soundtrack of a very popular soap opera back in 1985 and it played a lot on the radio. It is weirdly funny to think I was 7 years old then and I used to record this type of music from the radio on a cassette tape and spent hours listening to it. Be sure to react to his performance of "I'm Ready" from MTV Unplugged.

Imagine this: You’re performing in front of 90, 000 people, and they’re singing the lyrics to an original song you wrote back at you. How would that make you feel? If I was Bryan, I’d be so touched by it that I’d tear up because it would mean that I touched so many people’s hearts.
