jsut to clarify, the son goku ruling is offiaclly that it can't use any non-U7 cards, extra or otherwise. you should ALWAYS take email rulings with a grain of salt, as all that is from is customer service, not the head judge team the only reason you can play any extra cards in him at all is due to the yellow extra card "universe 7 rep" which has the u7 trait in all areas as its permanent

The ruling stated that Extra Cards that aren't Universe 7 tagged are NOT allowed in the deck as stated by the website: TB1-050　Son Goku Q1.Does this card’s permanent skill apply to Extra Cards? Mastered UI Goku really isn’t broken. You can use Crusher Ball, Mafuba, BLOCKERS, and since there is no barrier you can use Explosive Spirit Son Goku. There’s many outs to it that it can’t really be broken. Very powerful? Yes. Broken? Absolutely not.
