Excellent back-and-forth...Excellent technique from both fighters. It wasn't exactly flashy, I know Alex was hurt and fighting defensively, but both these guys are fantastic athletes. Tactically, to KNOW you're gonna walk into punches like that so you can move forward with a coherent plan, to maintain your strategy, is one of those near-superhuman strengths that many of these MMA fighters have and isn't recognized enough. KNOWING you'll have to take those shots in order to get position and get your own sequence in is just a whole other level of clear-headed purpose and focus. Wow.
