This video explains what a slinger signaller does, shows signals in use and details how to lift and land a load safely. For anyone taking the slinger signaller course, you will need to show these skills and record them on video to prove that you have done them correctly.

Answer: the spelling of 'instructor' on the back of Paul's hi-vis vest. The 't' is missing so it actually says 'insructor'! We had a batch of incorrectly spelled vests delivered from a printer and thought we had destroyed every last one, but this pesky one managed to avoid the bin and even got itself a starring role in one of our videos! We did consider reshooting the whole thing but then thought... why not see if any eagle-eyed trainees out there can spot it for themselves! After all, life isn't for taking too seriously all the time is it!

Just looked at this video and noticed that the master ring is incorrectly sized for the crane hook.

Hi Stuart, thank you for the comment, but unsure why you feel the Masterlink is the incorrrect size, it sits freely on the hook, it is not snagging at all. Always willing to learn if you can explain your thoughts?
