What a Start For The New Year 2021 | Pukehina, Bay of Plenty

Hi KZbinrs.
Thanks for watching. I’m making a quick video and I’m currently in my hometown: Te Puke.
I made a very brief visit with whanau and friends and reconnect with a special place that I call home.
After many failed attempts to fish this area, the forecast and sea conditions finally worked in my favour.
This is a prominent surf beach and I've lost a lot of gear over the years. Always make sure you securely fasten your PFD and have a VHF, Cellphone and PLB ready to go.

The Suspense of it all mate .... great to see you out their doing it & enjoying a bit of summer time with your family over Christmas break !! I haven't been out fishing for around 4 months because of a damaged tendon in my foot reacquiring from way back in 1998 .... Pfffff the joys of getting old i guess . Hope to get out in the next few weeks though as coming right i hope . All the Best for 2021 mate & keep the great fishing vids coming xxx
