PSR is one of the main forces killing football. I understand the thought behind trying to control clubs spending...because it's reached ridiculous levels, and the idea of it was to make clubs more competetive. However its just so happened to have had the opposite effect. Clubs like Man City and Chelsea benefit from years of unlimited investment, giving them much more scope under PSR rules....while clubs trying to improve are extremely restricted.

I am adamant that Arsenal are getting Šeško in the summer and he has that agreement to be at Leipzig for a year becuase of his age and integration. We are buying young players who are right for our system. Watkins' bid was something short-term. I'd be very happy with Williams; Šeško and that defensive-midfielder we have planned from Spain. I think the victory against City means Arteta is not in an urgency period and just wants the most perfect player.

Look at Robertson, just 30 and doesn't go a game without making multiple mistakes anymore. Salah is definitely leaving for Saudi, he never once spoke about staying, only says this might be his last season, he's clearly unwilling to take a new deal and is giving a performance of a lifetime to win all titles+Balon d'or and increase his salary for Saudi buyers. The whole idea that PSR sucks because it makes transfer windows unfun is a very silly idea. PSR is a good thing for the league. What I don't get is how a club with 130 charges *on* PSR is allowed to spend this much money while the charges are not officially cleared. That's what really takes the fun out of FFP regulations and the league overall.

4:05, i agree with a lot of what you're saying, but putting the football BEFORE the business is a very risky thing to do for a club in the top flight. this is how clubs are mismanaged and they plummet down to lower leagues. aside from the obvious downside of supporters being sad, the clubs employ lots of hard working people who tend to be the cannon fodder when the business slips even just a little. food for thought.

hey mark appreciate the content, just think saying Arsenal or even Chelsea doing nothing on the LAST day just sounds desperate. Chelsea already had a big squad so letting go of some is beneficial, Arsenal not buying Watkins could more beneficial than not cause even Duran was sometimes benching Watkins as he has been missing chances this season.
