This is a heartwarming classic song originally sung by the iconic Louis Armstrong in 1967. I just love how he has a forever smile on his face when he sings, and how the message has such a positive vibe. Here are the lyrics:
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you
I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world
I am very excited to debut my new 22 string Stoney End walnut double-strung Ena (F-F) harp with you in this video. Since the string tension is highest of all the Stoney End lap harps, it has an exquisite warm tone which I absolutely love. I've only had it for less than a month, so the sound is not quite as open and developed yet. But the tone is already so gorgeous and captivating that I just can't put it down. Imagine what it will sound like down the road once the voice really opens up! The string spacing is smaller than that of Brea, so if my arms look bunched up, they are LOL.
Beautiful fall colors are all around us now, so I thought I'd share with you the beauty of autumn days in Mt. Shasta. I hope this song brings a smile to your face 😊.
