At first, the song was not associated with Christmas. It was made in a bad time (1968) when the USA was on the brink of a civil war. There were protests against the Vietnam War, race riots swept through the country, curfews were introduced, and Jewish pogroms threatened. Armstrong also felt the country needed the song, that it would inspire a sense of hope and optimism. Hello, There are countless opportunities to hear Diana's speaking voice. She is also not shy toward showing her personality. There are many interviews, lengthy question and answer sessions with fans, and then there are her concert videos. Diana speaks, at length, between songs. Trust me. The girl loves to talk 🤣. But, she doesn't just talk. She has actual conversations with the audience.

It's just Diana's natural voice. You have only seen a fraction of her abilities really. She is incredibly unique...a true one of one. There are dozens of interviews and Diana has a beautiful fairly dark speaking voice...but it's totally normal...beautifully normal though. She has an adorable Russian accent when she speaks English. Check out her cover of "Take On Me" from her apartment in Moscow. I have dozens and dozens of Diana videos with her speaking in some of my Diana playlists if you want to find something quickly. Diana's voice is naturaly deep since she is a contralto. Yes it is her voice, Angelina Jordan is either a mezzo or a dramatic soprano so no she can not go as deep as Diana, Diana though has a huge vocal range herself that can cover both the Mezzo and Soprano vocal ranges. You will be very surprised by how high she can go, so you have heard nothing from her real powers yet. You are doing your selves a disservice by taking so long to hear more from the best female vocalist on the planet currently.

@@kevingood5813 If Angelina's lowest is B3 then she is a Lyric Mezzo (High Mezzo) or a Dramatic Soprano (Low Soprano), i am leaning more in to a Dramatic Soprano for now but as she ages and her voice gets lower then there is a good chance that she will become a Mezzo i guess. I am very surprised to hear that only a B3 is her lowest recorded to be honest, i was sure she was capable of going quite lower than that. Diana sings extremely often on the F3 to A3 scale she is very comfortable there, her lowest recorded is A2 (This is male Baritone waters) so she is well in to the territory of Dramatic Contraltos which is the lowest possible female vocal type but with her huge range she has reached and sustained up to D6 which is one note higher than the average Soprano range, she has gone in to whistle territory with a C7 and a crazy B7 but i am not counting those since they where vocalizations, screams if you will, not sustained notes.

Loved the reaction! The only tip for improvement i can give is to play with volumes more, to match the music clip's and each other's, some were barely hearable compared to the other and the song. Just relisten the video using headphones to verify. :) Merry Xmas everyone!!!!
