Loved this…a lot of people believe God won’t go over someone’s will. My wife once told me that about myself but she just was standing and having faith. She’s filed for divorce but I’m still standing and believing God will restore my marriage and it will be a greater love and commitment than before. Jason!!!!!!! You have no idea what this video brought to me tonight. The Holy Spirit was 100% talking through you because there is no one on this planet that can dispute a single word you said. I cross referenced the ESV with the KJV, I have just always used that version, but they were spot on with each other. Your dialog and enthusiasm has totally shifted my way of prayer, not only for my marriage but for everyone that I pray for now. The “Free Will” card has been played by each and every person that has been spectating my walk with Christ through my divorce. After 6 months of searching, watching, reading and listening, you have ministered to me tonight in a way that I can’t even convince myself anymore to not have full faith. I will never again say, “but I know they have free will Lord” anywhere in my prayers. You are totally right when you said if they make the choices, where is the Glory to the Lord in that. I never thought about that until tonight. I just can’t say enough about how this last hour has helped me to understand the love of the Father in a more clear way. Within the past three weeks, God has moved mountains in my life and in my faith. It’s no surprise that this video popped up at the exact time I watched it one year ago. As I mentioned before in my post a year ago, this was one of the main, if not the main turning points for my faith and my belief that God was going to restore my marriage. It was as though Jason was reading my mail. Everything that he stated in this video was exactly what I had come up against. My relationship with my Creator, savior, and best friend has grown by galaxies. Please share this video with anyone you know that needs to hear it. It makes a lot of sense about the free will. Why do people tell me though we are all born in sin and God will not force us to serve him and we have free will. Please explain that to me. I do hate that word free will and when I heard it so many times this month about my husband it does discourage me. He left me and wants a divorce after 20 years together. I have mediation tomorrow afternoon with my husband of 24 years and his high dollar lawyer.. my husband has been trying to divorce for about 5 years and each time he submits papers something happens.. I have been standing since the moment infidelity hit our marriage and God has taken care of me. I believe in what you say with all my heart. @@ghhm2705 So an update on what has transpired so far is it was postponed for another 3 weeks or so.. then the day finally came to where we saw the mediator. Apparently the judge took pity on my husband since he is considered disabled Veteran and when we finally saw the mediator all that I requested was granted. So God is faithful and there was no arguing or anger towards each other. It was handled so respectfully. My husband has now began to take me to lunches every now and then and has spent the night at our home once since the mediation date. We do have the divorce papers now, but, I am still standing for my marriage restoration. I hang on to Mark 10:9!! Blessings to you!

God does not recognize divorce he hates it, Moses accepted divorce because of men wanting to do what they want. So getting married to someone else will not change Gods mind. God cannot separate two because they are divorced. The spiritual realm does not recognize divorce its just a piece of paper. But God gives us grace and mercy and God can do what he wants. If you ask God will answer. No one is being selfish because they want their spouse to turn back to them. God wants to give us the desires of our heart.

It doesn't have to be a first marriage. If you weren't saved when married the first time you weren't held to the law to be freed by grace from sin. Clearly there are marriages not ordained by God. God says do not be unequally yoked. God also allows divorce because of one breaking the covenant though he prefers restoration. Those wronged are free to remarry and that marriage can be ordained by God. So it is the marriage ordained by God or that later comes under God's will as equally yoked that God will restore although He may also restore other marriages according to His will. He can do whatever He wants because He is Sovereign.

Jason, this is a great and needed message! What was happening in Chris’s life and mind is very similar to what I think is going on with my wife. I am standing like you did, it’s been about eight months now. It does get challenging because she had a lot of hatred as well, which she has transferred to my children towards me. So dealing with child custody and kids going back-and-forth has been challenging because of the lies that are being told about me. My in-laws were on my side all the way up to when she filed for divorce, they know my heart and that I am trying to save the marriage, but become public enemy number one for some reason. We’ve been married for over 26 years and we were very close family, but the enemy has really caused a lot of problems in the last year and a half. Is there a way that we can talk directly, thanks!

Hello, I am the one that did adultery. I thought I would be the last one to do this. My husband is filing for divorce and I am standing for our marriage. I strayed away from God when I should have kept him first in everything but I just tossed him aside. It’s hard for me at times to keep standing when I hear my husband say otherwise. I do know he questions God why now ,but I have to keep standing even though sometimes I feel like boo boo the fool. Even though I ask God to forgive I still feel so so bad that I did the act. I confess struggling with the heartache all over again. I so hoped God would turn my prodigal around before family events come to pass! 😢And yet, that is me trying to write the story of “the good” God promises to bring out of this. So, once again, I surrender control, I acknowledge He is sovereign and He is FAITHFUL! His will not mine. His timing, not mine. He still can be trusted with our messes. Thank you for your encouragement. I don’t know about you, but it’s hard to find girlfriends in this season, that are willing to stand also. Though my married friends haven’t left me, it’s still different. They sympathize yet I know they don’t understand. I’ve only maintained friendships with those supportive of my stand. My husband broke 4 of my ribs, tried to strangle me and left. Its very hard to ask anyone to stand for a marriage like mine. It been horrible and I dont even know if theres any point in standing. My husband attended church but his parents are his God and they did not want him married to me. A man cannot serve to masters. He WILL HATE one and love the other. My husband hates me as he could not let go of his parents approval. Hate breathes murder so in the end he tried to murder me simple as that. Cain quickly murdered his brother when he chose his feelings over Gods will!!! Thats murder going against God. My husband cannot leave his parents and God showed me a huge serpant has coiled itself around my husband and squeezed all life out of him. Sad but he chose to serve his parents instead of clinging to his wife.

I have been trying to say this same thing! You explained this whole topic of free will better than I have ever heard it taught, having lived out what you explained that happens, I can say that this truth, without a doubt it does happen this way. I was the prodigal, I had made up my mind what I was going to do, and I made my plans. Without me even going to rhe Father and repenting and crying out to Him to change me (in the beginning) He saught ME, He changed MY mind, heart, will, and desires. I didn't ask for it, but once that change started, I have never not be thankful He did, because my heart was transformed. I had people praying for me, so don't stop praying for your spouses and loved ones. Don't let their "free will" be your cop out, your excuse, to stop praying for them, this is where and when they need your faithfulness in praying and believing, the most! Their "free" will isnt free at all, it's a trap, it's based on the lies the enemy is feeding them and that is not free anything! They are trapped. Only God can truly free them. Fantastic, phenomenal job explaining this topic in this video, it truly does work like this. God moves and changes people period, believe it.❤

What an amazing testimony! If u don't mind me asking, are you and your covenant spouse back together now? I'm a second time stander. Sometimes I battle with if this is what I am supposed to be doing. I mean he did int before where our divorce was canceled but it's happening again where my husband has left our home and family. He says he loves me but finally loves himself more. No adultery or abuse. Miscommunication and not walking in a kingdom way even though God has called my husband to preach the gospel. I personally stopped putting God first and idolized my marriage. I kniw there is purpose for everything that He allows, it just gets hard at time and I'm asking God to deal with my unbelief especially when my Prodigal Spouse runs and tells me he wants a divorce.

@@mesha8374 My marriage is not restored in the natural yet. I don't think God would not be behind someone believing in His will for you, your spouse and marriage, God doesnt endorse divorce. You seen 1st hand how God can move and restore, so don't let discouragement trip you up. Your spouse needs your seeking, believing and praying for him, you may be the only one doing so. Remember what I experienced.....your husband has been lied to by the enemy and is listening to his lies, it's a dangerous road and I wish my spouse would have stood for me in the beginning but that wasnt the road God allowed us to travel. He turned my heart back to the one-flesh covenant husband of my youth and I've been standing for my 1983 covenant marriage since 2013.

My one-flesh husband of my youth rejected me when I repented and begged his forgiveness in 2014. God brought me back to our hometown that year. God provided a job and good place for me to live...while I wait for Him to get through to my husband and restore our marriage.

Speaking on infidelity, I was the guilty party and came back to Christ in 2019 and been separated with my wife since then. Now she’s filed for divorce because she needs “time away from the marriage to heal, can’t be the best mom to the girls while married to me” etc. I am committed to standing for my marriage, my wife, and my family! She’s not a prodigal, and is deeply hurt from my past actions. She and her church believes she’s not sinning and has the biblical right to divorce. I don’t necessarily argue that but my church has a completely viewpoint. My church says yea she has the right to leave but they would NEVER encourage her to do that. Please join me in prayer for the devil to be defeated, for my marriage and family to be restored, and God’s perfect will be done.

@@milabracha we are divorced as of March. However I’m still always around and in her life in some respects and I get to see the girls every day. I basically only sleep at my dads and still do the daily stuff at our house. I know she’s been wanting to sell the house now and move to a condo but I believe that’s because she wants a fresh start, because who in their right mind would sell in this market and for much less than the house is worth??

I do agree with what your church says. She does have right to divorce but that shouldn’t be encouraged. I saw marriage restored even after divorce. I hope and pray that you will stay closer to the Lord and the Word. It will strengthen you and give you wisdom you need. She may need some time more than you expect, respect her and pray for her. Once she sees Jesus in you, she will be off-guard knowing that you are trustworthy. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 stay strong!

If there's been infidelity, you must understand that that action has shattered someones self worth, self esteem and confidence, ability to function at work, as a parent, as a friend properly. Probably has caused some severe anxiety and maybe ptsd even. The spouse guilty of the offense should show PATIENCE, LOVE, COMPASSION, genuine AFFECTION not fake anything, or try to deflect but ask God for mercy and to see the betrayed spouses WORTH and BEAUTY and ask to be held accountable by the holy spirit. That person has broken someone's trust and completely perverted God's original design for marriage (or better said gone directly against the husbands role to love his wife. He has instead followed his flesh to do the devils will and that MUST lead to being heartbroken for that sin before God and the covenant spouse and children, and you should thank God for his mercy bc someone who can cheat and cover it up while profession Christ as his/her Lord and saviour will not be recognized by him but instead asked to be departed from him if unrepentant) The one who has been in adultery should know they have inflicted a type of pain they will probably never understand. But through God's love forgiveness and restoration can be done. God bless.

The Holy Spirit gave me an understanding about free will. He showed that free will is attached or is directly related to what is in the heart. Question is, can God change a person's free will? YES! He does it by changing, softening their heart. If your heart is hard, sin will dominate because sin proceeds from a hard heart. If you heart is soft then righteousness will dominate because righteousness will proceed from the heart. So we should pray for people's hearts to be softened and as God softens their heart, their free will, will also be turned back to God and righteousness. Plenty of examples in the scriptures of God softening and hardening people's hearts and their free will changing with it. The Holy Spirit showed me it is as simple as that

@Ariaan Arnold Sharma hi, I did call him and he was still not willing to come back. During that time he got sick with COVID and was in critical conditions. I flew out all the way to were he was hospitalized as stayed there until he was released and together came back home. However, things weren’t the same. His heart changed, he seemed different and this time he seems lost and I can only pray for God to reach him in the place he is at right now. I believe God will do it. As of right now, he’s gone again and he’s decided not to be in this marriage anymore. But I trust the Lord in all His splendor and goodness even when I am hurting.

I struggled for years with insecurity, anger, and sexual immorality and had several affairs throughout 17 years of marriage. 3 years ago I repented and was broken and gave my life to Christ. I’m reading everyone’s comments many of them are mostly women and it’s so sad to see that so many of us are going through marriage separation and standing for our prodigals. My main question is why is God allowing this all to happen to so many of us? Especially to the women? And not only is it happening to us but most of us have yo stand for our marriages for many months and even years. I love the Our Father in heaven with all my heart, but he has promised us peace, hope, and a future. Why does he allow all this pain and confusion to happen within our marriages if he is a God who does not creat confusion? Who doesn’t want to see us fail? I don’t understand. God tells us to call on him and he will answer us but I never hear him, God said he will deliver us from our distress but some of us are still standing after 20 years.. God said that whatever we ask for according to his will we will receive it but yet restoration still does not happen… It’s hard to believe that my husband doesn’t have 100% free will when there’s clear proof.

I would like to had that some people use the exception clase that talks about how you can divorce your husband or wife if they commit adultery. If you study carefully ... the word is He permits it BUT this word permits does NOT mean it´s okay with Him... it means He allows it against His will because He can not force them to stay together. I had this happen at first, until the Holy Spirit gave me the words to these same people and they backed down and accepted that they see the changes in me and that’s enough evidence for them to believe yes, this is God.
