GenG had such a weird tourney. They looked dominant throughout and then get boatraced by M80 and G2 I guess styles make fights

M80 is really good, they shouldnt have lost to Shopify but it kinda makes sense cuz Shopify is really good as well, Shopify shouldn't have lost to GenG either. It was a confusing top 8, Im sad GenG beat them only to put up such a weak performance against G2 but it happens

That ball had some decent height, was moving quick, and you were just getting to net. You would have had to read Atomic beating Majic in the corner and sending the ball high over your head. I'd say you don't have anything to beat yourself up about with that play. Keep being awesome Retals!

You guys looked awesome, Cheese is the perfect guy to pair with you and MB. He was doing everything at an incredibly elite level. I'd like to see more ball control from MB, and utilizing his mechanics to set up you 2. The flip reset pass (take notes) has been the most dominant play for 2 seasons now. Extremely high percentage of effectiveness leading to goals. One more thing that could use a little polish is MB rotations and defense. If he was as confident as you and cheese, trusting his mechs, his effectiveness could be maximized and would elevate your whole team to a new level. Take it or leavie it, this is what I see as the little things to step y'all up to the next tier of competition. No reason for LG not to be top 4. Unfortunately Dignitas got the easiest schedule I've ever seen. Good luck in the next event my dude. Been a huge fan for years, just want to see you make another worlds appearance. LG is the biggest sleeper team out there. It's time to step up.

they should have had you play the other teams that lost in the same round as you to figure out who got 5th, 6th, etc, with 5th getting more points. same thing for third-fourth... but, i honestly hate this format. i think rocket league should have a regular season and a postseason. You play a few teams per week, with the best regular season teams all in a regional LAN to determine who goes to the major.

About Daniel, was kinda feeling like he underperformed a bit this weekend, crazy to say as they won the event. He has two teammates that just go after it and get points so maybe it's inevitable one of them has to have less points. But overall his stats just didn't seem too strong, do you think that will continue?

It will, he in my opinion played perfectly he never made a mistake and was playing a deep third which is what he naturally does. On space station he was clipping and scoring because he had to he was the most mechy and youngest player but now in G2 atomic and beast mode are on par with him so he plays a role he knows will help his team win. He gets the necessary touches and plays perfect defense for beast mode to do anything he wants and atomic to come in cherry pick shots
