Honestly I've seen the same thing. Started college last year and haven't been able to play wotb because it's blocked. I went home for Christmas and played 35 battles. I did have 60% win rate but I noticed the players had insanely low skill levels, some things they did were mind numbing. Maybe it's a good thing I can't play much anymore.

Totally sympathise. I’ve been grinding the tier 9 and tier 10 today, on EU server, and the teams have been trash. Pretty much every game I’m either top or second and the other 5 or 6 do a few hundred damage each. There’s no meta and no skill level anymore. 😢

This is why win rate, or even Win vs Defeat shouldn't matter for results. If I get 4200 dmg and kill 4 enemy tanks, but my team sucks, I shouldn't be penalized in my stats / winnings just because we lost a battle. Wins should only apply to mission totals and grind rewards. jmho

I've introduced a couple friends of mine to the game. They were all pretty, bad and in the end, only two stuck around. One of them is currently going 40% and barely 1400 dmg avg in teir 10, pretty bad. I've talked to him quite a few times about blitz, and from his comments, the fundamental problem in my opinion are a lack of guides, and little immediate improvement. Take a game like cs:go/2. Anytime you search the game, you immediately get nade lineups, positioning tutorials, etc. In blitz, we just get tank guides. These are fantastic for intermediate/50%ers, but before that, understanding spotting, bushes, HP conservation, good positions, bad positions, when to push and when not... It's just not there. I'm not saying this is the fault of KZbinrs, compared to those shooter games, biltz is a lot more dynamic in say positioning because of the multiple rng factors (what tanks, what line up, etc.) But, at the same time, if there was say a lot of these videos, it could seriously beneficial to new players. That being said, there are of course a couple problems with the game itself: 1) RNG I'm not talking about those one or two games you missed a shot in and lost. I’m talking about the rng tank lineup. Thanks to this, it is difficult to create a guide for new players as fundamentally they are different reps of battles with rn different stratagies. 2) Lack of immediate benefit. This basically compounds on the last one but, Say you're in a shooter game. You use the sniper, you follow a guide, they teach you a new position, you get a kill, you feel good. In blitz, you learn a new position, you get nuked because the lineup had more tds than in the video. You learn a new spotting position, you're excited to try it out! The map is not in rotation. Fundamentally blitz has a problem with learning. There is a massive skill cliff you need to scale before learning. In the current content space, 55% -> 70+% (maybe not right now cause teams lmao) is honestly easy. But 40% -> 50% is really really difficult. I was 40% about two years ago. I got up to 50% half a year ago. Thanks to droodles, hrf, some Russian tubers, I went from 50% to now 70% in just 4-6 months (I was afk for a bit). In the same durations, I was at about 1.5k, to 2k, to now averaging 3200 in teir 10. I personally don't think the skill cliff is that much of a problem. It's hard, but just like many competitive games with competitive children, they can still get over it. However, it's clear blitz ain't that right now. I feel if we just made more, and more comprehensive guides, like all those many years ago in early blitz, maybe we can do something. But that's just a theory, a gam-... This is all my personal opinion. But there's one more thing. Rng just sucks for any competitive game.

I almost never play ranked. I played a game yesterday with only heavies and one med on each side. You had broken tanks like the tornvagn, Emil, T77, bourrasque, etc. Ranked is completely unenjoyable and the only reason to play is quests/ events. As for regular games, the skill level has gotten so bad that I’m spending 2x the amount of time I used to just to finish daily quests. I average 59% and I’m trying to get to 60, but the teams are just so awful it’s impossible to win, especially when playing in tanks that are fun but you can’t carry, like Amx-13 75 or Borsig and grille. There’s also the issue of broken tanks, like the badger and annihilator. They’re just overpowered in almost every way, and then you have the smasher. Smasher players are the worst breed, the results of generations of inbreeding. They rely on a busted tank, but don’t realize that it’s the best. Same for 183 players. All they do is ruin the game for everyone playing. Like imagine you’re trying to play in a WT panzer 4 in an open map when a 183 shoots you and takes 90% of your health. Your game is ruined. And what can you do about it?

You are exactly right! There aren't enough guides to make and basic mechanics for the players. I've played over 11k battles and I've just recently been getting better at the game. It's taken me this long just to learn the basics of the game and different tactics/strategies! Most of them I've had to learn through trial and error. The biggest problem with this is that most players can't/won't keep playing thousands of battles just to finally have all the main stuff down. It's easy to say but one of us should be the ones to make guides.

Honestly, players are pulling weird moves because they're hooked on other fun game modes. They're stuck in those modes, recklessly taking risks and making bizarre plays. The problem is, these modes have ruined their tolerance for a regular 7-minute game - now they just want to rush through it in a couple of minutes.

Bro so true. Right now Eu is total mess. I am playing ratings and i am over 5k points rn but the teams i am getting are horrible. They are camping in heavies and meds, grills are yolowing and dying, almost every battle someone dies in the first 30 seconds. I got 7 loss streak today and i lost a lot of points. Some games i can go over 5k damage and lose because my team does less that 1.5k. Just sad. Also mm is so bad, i can get deaths star instead of light/medium tank, less meds and more td's on one team. This just makes the game unenjoyable for me. Also getting teams where there is someone with 100k battles and someone with 100 battles is super 'fun', like even how is it possible???

I always find it annoying how the matchmaker gives some of the most unfair matchmaking the decides the entire game, especially when in regards to light and meds. Almost everytime the matchmaker decides to give your team 2 meds/lights with one a tier lower against 3 meds/lights that are higher tier most of the time the match is already decided especially when teammates abandon med side.

I do this as well, it seems like the longer you play one tank the worse you'll perform. I spammed the T77 when I got it from auction last December and managed absolutely great games and now recently I'm getting up tiered literally 9/10 games I'm playing and against teams that know what they're doing, it doesn't help that the T77 doesn't have the greatest pen.

Yes, when it's rigged it's typically against a specific tank or a type or tier. So if 3 or 4 times smashed, move right away. If playing tier 8 heavy, go play tier 6 light or medium. The worst thing to do is persist until you win. I still do that just to see how bad it gets. My record run is 16 losses, and done it twice. Other runs are 20 losses from 22 in the Strv 72 and 28 losses from 35 in the S35 CA. That one set 12 as the record, I won 3, then lost 13 straight. That record of 13 straight lasted until the "improved" matchmaking came in a year ago. The matchmaking has been worse and more volatile since.

@@michaelbonnette873 Your current performance in the game. The more you win and deal damage, the more your rating increases. Now, that rating is invisible, this isn't rating battles. The more it increases, the more likely you are to face players with equivalent or better skill whilst having worst teammates. You may see this by having a toon of good players on the enemy team whereas you get two average or below average Joes. Let's say you are a 60%. If you lose a game, you will see that your team has almost only 40% whereas the enemy team has a consistent amount of 50% players. Since you got better winrate and therefore skills, it is logical for the matchmaker to pair you with worse players to balance the skillset whereas the enemy team gets an average team.

@@michaelbonnette873 Map rotation is a terrible idea, especially for unskilled players. Improvement, in any form is due to repetition. If you stop that repetition, how can improvement be made? By removing maps for months at a time, players get worse because they do not play on those maps anymore, and once they're back, you just got a terrible team at your hands.

I realized that since the last updates of 2022, this game's mm system has started to completely break down. Starting from 2023, it is out of control. I can't enjoy WoTB anymore. The damn thing called RNG interferes with my gameplay so much that I can't explain it. Since I always play an average of 3-4k in matches, some matches knowingly interfere with my gameplay. I fire and my shot misses, it ricochets next to the tanks even though I hit them from the side like a shediran. This started happening so frequently that I asked other people too. They said they had similar experiences. There was even a tank that surrendered in one game. I went in to shoot him and said hello. He also said hello. I shot him at back and it bounced off. There wasn't even any armor. The tank I shot at was a kpz. I also fired with AP bullets. WoTB rigged mm system is cheating ap clearly. I think this way. My Winrate dropped from 59'25% to 58.80%. This incident is not normal.

Honestly, afk players should get replaced by bots that use their tanks so that atleast it won't make them completely useless. Something like if the player disconnects a bot takes control until the player comes back or the battle ends.

Having said that, we had three afk tanks in our tea last night. They need to get serious about AFKs and if you get reported for AFK and it is checked and confirmed, you should be banned for a week.

It is a team game and hitting "battle" means that you commit to being there for your team for at least that game. Being AFK should be regarded as being a gross violation to your duties to the team and should be severely punished. Team work is the heart and soul of this game and having many AFKs will kill the game.

I actually noticed that not only my own Teams got worse but the enemy teams too, today i had a battle in the E3. The enemy Ho-Ri rushed me and died instantly, then also a Jgpz rushed me which left me with 150hp. A Grille with no skin just looked at me and didnt shoot for a solid 30 seconds until i got two shots into him which killed him too, and then a enemy WZ just completely ignores me and goes for my afk full life teammate, thats when i noticed not only did the Wz go for the afk but the enemy progetto did aswell, the progetto even killed himself due to randomly ramming into an Afk. I was able to kill the wz that only had eyes for the afk and then i was lucky enough that the last enemy alive, a deathstar was standing randomly around afk too. Wot Blitz has turned into a weird game, i feel like just you said before all logical thinking and skill just completely went down the Drain. Its insane what sort of players you meet nowadays.

Leopard 1 is a great tank, not the best for noobies (I'm kind of a nub) but I'm good with it. I average 2-3k damage in every battle. The problem? Teammates! Every single game, I would have completely cleared the medium side with 2k dmg on me only to be surrounded by heavies and be killed. I have 45% wr on that tank now 😢

Thats been happening to me as well after getting back into blitz after 1 or 2 years. Get into a battle 2 minutes later look around your teammates have magically died, average of 2 AFK teammates every battle and most times half my team dies befor doing any damage. They really need to fix matchmaking.

Early in the morning today the teams were absolute shit. Virtually every single game we had 3-4 teammates under 1k for the first dozen. But, after noon things turned around, I was still dealing 4-5k in the AMX 50B every game but we started winning. And I did achieve one goal, I killed you today, with the Kpz50T on Normandy.

Not really. It really matters on the best players. Droodles is a 70% average player. Imagine a toon of two players like himself. They have the ability, let alone by themselves, to change the tide of a game. It is also safe to say that players like Droodles are rare, that is why it is more than likely that the matchmaker will balance such skill by implementing an average enemy team and an ally team with lower skillset that the enemy team. In other words, the more skilled you are, the more rigged the matchmaker is against you. It has been proven.

@@danbadie4130 Dude, the matchmaker does not pick teams based on skill. If that were the case, every player would average out to 50% because the teams would be hyper balanced. This has been debated since the start of the game, whether that be on Reddit, YT, Discord, or even the WoTB forums, and every single time it gets brought up, it gets disproven. Rigged matchmaking does not exist, the only factor that matchmaking takes into account is whether you are over 5k battles or not. If you want more info, read the Offical Matchmaking Thread on the WoTB NA forums. We've talked about this extensively over there.

The real pb is the matchmaker. Since the other team did the right thing, you've been railroaded into a batch of known failed players. It's known that WG uses a casino type algorithm to break a winning streak.

Every single game in that span I had at least one AFK on my team and at least one player with zero damage. I still averaged 3k per game and still lost no matter what I did. The players had absolutely no clue what they were doing or how to play their tank. My winrate went from 72% to 52% in that span in the 53TP. Second, I played a tier 7 game this week where the other team had 2 Annihilators and one Smasher. My team? We had ONE Annihilator. We lost in less than two minutes! Talk about rigged games! The MM sucks and so do the players. I'm a 67% player with over 5,100 battles and I know what I am doing. I wish other players did.

Im like still kinda new to the game n stuff but ive noticed the same thing when my winrate was 77% and it dropped to 58% as my teammates would die so fast id be left alone and ive seen my teammates do such dumb things its unimaginable and even saw one of my teamates stay afk At first i thought that im getting worse or the game went harsh on me but nah ive seen others get the same thing

This has become the normal in my games as well. Normally the other team wins by a landslide...our entire team killed..and they loose maybe one tank killed on their side. No idea how the match maker calls it a fairly even match up when matches are complete landslides. Not to even mention the ghost shells that disappear mid flight. Blits is slowly getting not fun to play anymore.

I have always wondered why people with decent devices play Blitz?! If I had a good PC, I would have never installed this RNG-based game. I love slow-paced, skill-based games like ARMA and War Thunder. Or, even like the open-world games, I really hate when RNG dictates my skills. They call Blitz a team-based competitive game, but where is the teamwork? When I purchase a new tank, it's fun, but the fun immediately ends with pressing the battle button! This game is taking away people's mental health... Blitz would be playable only if they made the regular battle similar to a rating battle, but they would need to count the battle stats. In this case, even after losing a battle, the top 3 performers won't lose their win rate. Just for the peace they should change the regular battle system.

Winning is not possible at the moment, normally on 75% or higher on 30 days. But at the moment dropping like a brick. Did 2 M's with Caro 45t and 5 with E6 but it's only losses it draws.... Epic merge they did with the server. Besides the lack of communication skills/language... 800 damage on X is the new meta, afk's, 0 damage. WG killed the fun.

Problem is, WG supplies beta vehicles, etc to said unicums and they're not willing to make a stink! I've been complaining about this for the past two years since they change the damn algorithm. I am not surprised and amazed at the same time as a GERMAN SUPER HEAVY a tank that DESIGN TO FIGHT IN URBAN Terrain. Somehow Blitz Players unable to understand this simple concept of Tank combat. Ok sure, this is more on experienced players, BUT FOR ME TIER X IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A NEWBIE TIER. You should learn the basics at the time you get a tier VIII. Heck, even WOT PC players, despite their skill dropped for recent years, Blitz is just new time lower than Twitter users.

As a 60%er, i literally had the same feeling that the skill level of its player base had gone to its worse state, and it got to the point where dmg per battle is the only thing i could care of. I assume it is most likely the result of the sht wg had build up throughout the years; promoting wrong tutorials is an example that makes heavies just go straight to the town at the beginning of the battles with no hesitation whatsoever. Another big sht was every time when wg makes it easy access to high tier tanks to all players without restrictions, selling tier 10 collector and premiums directly and those rewards from small tiny events that allows newer players to grind faster than ever.

I came back to the game on July, since then im playing 1000+ battles per month, i very often check the player's stats now and then and when it comes the first day of december the battles became way more difficult due the fact the new players which has less than 5k battles are now in the normal matchmaking, before december it was very rare to see players wiith less than 5k battles and now it's normal. Players with colectors tier10 with less than 100 battles is not rare to see and i dont blame then, it's not ther fault, it's WG's fault changing the mm

WG has been pumping new players into the game with a large advertising campaign. They coupled this with x5 to be purchased plus months and months of game modes= Lots of inexperienced players with tanks in tiers that they can’t play. Low battle counts, no experience in the lower tiers to learn about the game: spotting, side scraping, getting bounces, understanding maps, understanding armour profiles…. The list is long. Back in the day… 5-6 years ago… there were no modes, no quick n easy grinds… instead you had to grind 1-200 games to get your t8, 200 or so for ur t 9 and 2-300 to get ur t10. Probably 500 - 1000 games to get a t10. You ground knowledge and experience. Now: 5 games at t8 in game mode with x5 loaded + 3 videos watched and hey presto you have your t9. You have the tank but are missing the 300 games experience getting it. That’s why the games screwed!

This is my blitz experience haha I don’t average as much as Droodles or people, but I’m about 2500 and some tanks I have are 35%-45% from 50 battles. Drives me mad Then I see noobs at 1600 running 55%-60% Winrate. I don’t get it

We know the matchmaking is rigged, and it's good to see a video of bad teams. Too often the videos are ridiculous romps through rubbish opposition so those complaints are fair. No doubt your next run in that tank will provide better teams because that's how rigged matchmaking works. The other day I won just 3 of 16 in Ratings. Today won 3 of 4. So a career 52% career player went to an 18% player in one session to a 75% one in the next session. Had I played another 12 games, I probably win 13 of 16 total and reverse completely the horror session. Why WG must coerce the matchmaking making is beyond me, especially for the length of time it's rigged. Just do it for 3 battles, then switch it back. Not 8, 12, 16 or even 35 as I've witnessed. Also, there should be a mode without it rigged, and that should be Ratings.

i totally agree with u Droodles, bad players are everywhere bt after WG cooked up a new ingridient at their headquarters that keeps them HIGH 24x7x365, and then decided to merge RU server n u b s with EU server the EU server went to hell too, i learned to play skillfully from people like you and Fatness and currently sit at 56 % win rate with 6500 games bt the teams are just so bad after the Ru server merge where everyone is dead within 1 min 2) Wg said they fixed the match maker where despite having 6500 battles i get 38 % players on my team every match who camp in an E 100 at Spawn or yolo, Great Job WG (you should go to Hell, people like these dont even deserve a job specially at Wargaming ) the WG company should fire all the employees who make such decisions or fix the coding of Match maker and start from a clean slate !! #WARGAMINGHASSKILLISSUE

WR is a stat granted by Blitz' discretion. In the year 2020 I told you that Blitz is a business and WR is a stat you have very little control to maintain. Participating in platooning will increase your chances of winning because it means that at least one of your teammates wants to win too. Blitz WR of 40%+ and only one account is sure sign of a good player. If you want to increase your WR you can always create a new account and start over. That way when others look at your profile they will be more impressed with your 99%WR. They will not be able to see your over 200,000...500,000...etc., battles and 10 years experience. Being obsessed with WR is a definite waste of time in WOT Blitz because the format of Blitz assigned teams assures unbalanced teams relative to experience. A better stat to be obsessive about: Tournaments. In tournaments each teammate can be clearly assessed prior to match. So when players in Blitz tell me they are good players because they have a 70-80% WR I have to consider how they obtained their WR, how many accounts do they have? How much time invested? How many battles played? How much do they rely on teammates to perform formula performance for specific maps? You are a great player when you have the worst teammates they all get destroyed and you manage to take out all 7 tanks by yourself!

1st problem:taking down russian server and putting all slavs on EU server. 2nd problem:to easy advancement to tier 10.Some russian kid has his momy giving him mony and he buys 10 000 gold.Then he buys tier 10 premium and woila-he is playing tier 10 with 50 games of expirience...

Thanks to Droodles I have improved my WR from 52% to 58% (30 days). But you shouldn't forget that for many people it's just a short arcade game. Stay calm, you won't be able to improve all players.

The average skill levels of wotb are at such a miserable levels now that it's just sad. I am not even mad anymore when I lose my games. I play a centurion RAAC (tier 8) and there is ALWAYS at least 3 people below 700 damage. I dont even remember how many I have lost because 5 of my teammates couldn't hande 4 enemies on heavy side while I deal with 3 mediums/light. I am convinced half of wotb players lack common sense 😭
