It's almost 4 years since this tragedy and as a regular person each time I watch interviews or the movie I find it impossible to comprehend the pain that Taya must feel every day. Chris Kyle represents the untold and unthinkable lives that none of us see or feel if we don't have a loved one away from home and fighting to defend their country in the Military. I cry as a wife and mother at the idea of living without my partner who is my soulmate' lover and best friend but to see what they went through and to read any negative comments about Chris Kyle is awful. If you haven't had a family member who only did what they were told to do in the military, taking their orders. Some memories are truly painful to talk about, my grandfather served in World War 2, never talked about it. My deceased dad served in the Korean war and never talked about it as well as my deceased father in law whom only talked about it to my middle daughter whom was doing a book report on Wars and she practically had to beg him cos he didn't want to talk about it, but she asked him if he wanted her to get a good grade... that was all coaxing he needed to get him talking. He got a purple heart. I don't think that anyone should disrespect someone who has passed away regardless of how, why or when they passed away. The man and his widow and children deserve some respect no matter what people say he was like.
