I know this is probably such an odd and out of nowhere thing to say, but during the speech and the beginning notes of the orchestra (specifically around 6:45ish) I watched Carrie's face transform into a younger version of herself. I've been following her for so long, but in that moment I swore she looked just like she did when she first started in les mis back in 2013. Full of fulfilled hope and wonder at the show that has weaved and bobbed its way through her life continuously. I'm so happy that theater is back in the UK and that the amazing show/life I've watched through your camera lens is able to come back with someone who obviously loves it so much. Best Wishes Carrie 💜

I lived in dublin a few years ago and it was a rough time for me, really really rough. I'd hop in a cheap Ryanair flight to london every now and then just to watch plays and musicals and whatnot. It's been almost a decade since I've last been in the west end, but it'll always be a special place for me. And even though I'm now thousands of kilometres away, seeing les miz coming back to life moved me so much. The arts will always be there for the ones who need it and that's just the beauty of it.

I didn’t expect to cry, but I most certainly did. Hearing the first starting notes and then hearing the crowd cheer.... I'm sitting here sobbing. This has brought so much hope to so many people, that things are actually going to go back to to semi the way they were before. I don't think you actors realize the hope that you provide. You really are amazing individuals, you're superheroes. I hope you know that. I hope you know it that you helps so many people, and how amazing is that that just by sitting our butts in a theater chair that we can just forget all about our problems if not just for two or three hours. And for those two or three hours the world just makes sense, forget all our problems and we're just able to enjoy life. So from the bottom of my heart Carrie thank you for everything you do. Thank you for putting your heart, your mind, and your soul into every character that you play. You're a rockstar.

As someone who loves theatre and has been in amateur dramatics in the past, the sound of an audience and the opening of Les Mis made me cry with happiness, it brings us so much hope that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel and theatres will be lit up with audiences soon thank you so much for sharing that Carrie 🥰

This whole video just made me cry! Knowing that the audience was only 50% capacity and can still make all that noise just shows that theatre will forever stay alive! It was so emotional to hear an audience reaction to a performance and I can’t wait till I’m sitting in an auditorium again! And so massively proud of Gi it really does show that good people get rewarded, she was incredible and amazing in the castle and we shouted with joy when she won, even my 69 year old Dad who didn’t really know her before I’m a celeb which I think just says it all.

I graduated college summer 2018 with an HND Technical Theatre and Production Arts at 33 (second time around as tried to do it after school but family issues at time meant i had to drop out). Trying to get into Stage Management, in particular DSM/Show Calling but as we all know the positions tend to be "Dead Man Boots" positions. So for 2019, was just picking up freelance tech work where i could, Fringe, Panto, occasional events and casual at my local theatre. Felt like i was just getting the ball rolling and F**ing covid hit. This year has sucked in the biggest possible way. however, seeing this - seeing Les Mis and Six back open this weekend - seeing the great job the Im a celeb production team had done, and to top it off with Michael wearing that badge. Defo seeing light at the end of the tunnel. Carrie, thank you for always being positive, even when its super tricky to be. Thank you for being an inspiration and who knows (hopefully) we'll work together some day.
