I also like how he's upset about Noah but Noah only had the opportunity to get in on the date because Ed backed out once he realized he would wrestle Chasen. He should have mentioned his condition from the get go not when you learn who your opponent is... He also confirmed the very thing Noah told Tayshia about how the group felt about his rose saying "that rose is BS". I can read Ed like a book. one of the guys will always rub him the wrong way. I really liked the way Ivan and tayshias conversation was edited, it felt so natural and real. I feel like a lot of times when contestants open up it ends up looking unprompted which makes it super uncomfortable to watch because it looks like these people HAVE to open up about all their trauma on national TV if they want to be rewarded with a rose. Ivan and tayshias conversation didn’t feel forced like that and it was really refreshing

What an amazing conversation that Ivan and Tayshia had, which just comes to show that we really need more cast diversity on the show to shed some light in topics like that. I think the last time the show had such a poignant conversation was when Caelynn spoke about her sexual assault. (Plus, am I the only one who thinks that Ivan kind of looks like a younger version of Tayshia's dad?) 3. Remember in the cast reveal video, Chris Harrison said: "Awkwardly I can say that I got to spent some time with Ed"? Now we know what he meant by that. 4. Besides Joe, I'm also lowkey gutted that Jordan and Kenny are gone too. I'd swap them for Ed any day. 5. Ben, Brendan, Ivan and Zac are SO locked as the final four that even the editing doesn't bother in letting it show.

I relate to everything Tayshia and Ivan talked about it's crazy. Having family in prison, being a black filipino person, having a black dad, being the minority in your school, experiencing discrimination and racism. That feeling of not belonging to a certain ethnicity or race absolutely sucks, especially when it feels like people like you don't even exist. I've never related to anything on the Bachelorette or the Bachelor more than I have with these two. I feel for both of them so much.

But when it comes to attraction and compatibility, it's near impossible to pinpoint that one thing that either sets the person off about someone or makes them want to jump the persons bones, there and then! But for better or worse, at least while they're younger, girls like a bit of a bad boy. It harkens back to a primitive condition. Testosterone driven, hunter/gatherer types. Some girls still gravitate towards a manly man and no amount of money or even classical good looks will do it. And let's be honest, race card aside, Asian men rarely possess those kinds of 'protector' qualities. It's almost as if the estrogen is disproportionate. Ie - little to no body hair and effeminate features. It is what it is. Don't hate the player hate the game!

Really appreciated the respect you gave to the conversation between Ivan and Tayshia. It's easy to see how much they bonded in those moments. I love Ivan. My brother is currently in rehab and when his daughter was born he spiralled into heroin addiction.. it was heart breaking for us a family.. now 3 years later he is in a good rehab and we wish the best for his recovery. I’m Black and this comes up in conversation regularly - friends, family members, dates, relationships. Little Poncho made great points - but to the others - human rights aren’t “political”.
