As a Malthael main, tbh, I really like how they played him in this match more than how EU teams did recently. I go for Last Rites more often than Tormented, but it has it's place for sure, I think it's smart to pick Tormented against Medivh, sure you can wait for shield and use it after, or bait the shield with it for another ult on your team (although, bad cooldown trade), but I don't think Korean pro Medivh will make a mistake that allows to get kills with Last Rites. But another thing, I really like that they go for Fear the Reaper on 1, a lot of the times it helps you not to die or get that important kill, and I'm glad someone is picking that talent and using it well. In EU nobody picks that talent, but I love it. Essential talent for my Malth build imo. With W range sometimes you can just dive too deep and die as you don't have an escape (with Fear the Reaper you have), and I even saw that (diving too deep with high W range) on your videos, Khaldor. It just feels too risky to get value out of AOE % dmg on W if you don't have Fear the Reaper, as you can jump in and just die, but with that not only you get movement speed, but also anti-bodyblock and with lvl13 you get unstoppable and that's enough to survive. I guess, some teams don't need it all because they rely on support to save them (like Anduin or Lucio can easily replace that talent), and I think from a solo player perspective where you can't 100% trust your team, but I dunno - I liked their Malth style more than EU. Obviously, I'm not a pro and all of these players are better than me and know better. Just interesting to see how they play a hero differently. :)

I know one of the other talents for sgt hammer at 7 is graduating range. The only reason I remember that is because it drives me nuts when I see someone pick that talent. Same thing with li ming and calamity at level 7. There is no other talent.
