With the rollout of new cameras across the city, more drivers will be nabbed and fined.
Recent data revealed that nearly one in every four cars in the capital has received a speeding fine in the past six years.

This is beginning to look like Zimbabwe. The local police in Zimbabwe had a weekly budget they needed to achieve in road fines issued simply to ensure they would be paid each month. This led to fines being issued for the most amazing things and if anyone thinks I am joking, I experienced it first hand during a stay in Zimbabwe some years back and I was chatting with the local police commissioner I played golf with one day in Hwange. I regularly picked up fines every month for various traffic offences during my 6 months in Zimbabwe.
