Honestly GS should really explain this more or have an in game list that helps new players or when you go to make a team they should have some sort of system that tells you that you’ll be able to stack with these units or not

I don’t mind trying to figure stuff out in the game but they make it so damn complicated with this arts gen type thing I don’t mind having certain mechanics in game as long they are explained and they make some sort of chart for this. image trying to figure out what unit arts gen stacks with another units arts gen I’m not gonna be on GS for hrs trying to figure that shit out that’s why I said earlier they should have some sort of system that tells you which units arts gen stacks with each other so it’s not complicated especially for new players

To be honest, as a rule of thumb and for simplicity, I just categorize Art Geners into 3 types: Grand Summoners Original Characters, Crossover Characters, and Fen(s). Some characters do go against this like Yusuke not stacking with other crossovers, but if you look at the Art Types lists, the most common Art Geners can be categorized into those 3 general basic types.

Can you do one for equipment? I find it harder to find out which equips don't stack with each other.

I believe all equips stack with each other except for duplicates. So you wont be able to stack 2 Keions together or 2 damage buffing equips. Same thing goes with items that give enemies debuff effects. Ex: Milim's Clothes has an Arts Gen Over Time effect. If two are used at the same time, you will only get one of the times Arts Gen Over Time effect, not two. BUT if you used Milim's Clothes with Melty's Dress then you will get both of their Arts Gen effects. However, you can "stack" instant effects together even if they're dupes, BUT only the instant effects will work if the item has two effects on it. Ex: Priestess Robes has an instant, burst Art generation effect and a Heal Up buff to all allies. If you used two of the robes at the same time, everyone will get the instant 30 arts gauge but only one of the Heal Up buffs will apply. If I'm wrong feel free to correct me, but I believe that's the jist of it! Definitely a lot simpler than Character Arts Types.

I have a good question for you man! I was fortunate enough to get Sunroku/Falco/Revali but am now wondering if his art gen will get in the way of WG Fen and Hart? OP, what do you think? If WG Fen is A, Hart is B, then what is the Birdman? Also, who to use for that last unit? I have lots of characters and am using the fire girl twins right now, but is there something that would work better? I hope you see this message and I will go and drink some water right now for good luck! 🤞

For art gen types is there and tell for what type a unit belongs to or is it that they're just assigned to a group just because

There is a few signs, the only ones that are hard to tell, is if a unit is an ex group or type A, most of the time they're type B or type E( most collab units), you can tell if a units art gen is type F if it requires a condition to be met, or to not be in a status ailment or something like that.

What i don't get is the difference between the groups like why is B diff from A and so on. All the chars are seperated into two main groups burst arts gen and arts per sec that one is easy to understand. Idk where all these diff groups come from

He forgot to explain a bit more but stuff like type F( mizuki 12th and illya for example) require some sort of condition to be met for the art gen to reliably work, like all allies need to be above 50% HP, regular Berwick has a burst and over time for a specific element being fire, so any other unit that does the same but for a different element will overwrite his. There's more but it's too long to type.

It's just a different way of saying who's Arts per Second effect can stack with another effect. Someone like Fen is in Group A, so he cannot stack his arts effect with other Group A Characters.

They really should implement having those details in-game because they can be confusing if you're new to the game. These arts gen types play a major role in balancing the game as well as making team-building much more fun and complicated.

Just wait till your charc. Icon says True art. Then swipe up twice. If you by any chance have a character that has super arts. You swipe up three times. If you have a character that can super art but youve never seen the icon for that. Then your barely a fish out of the coral reef my friend. In which case i will tell you Fo get bout it.🤌 cause the stages for that are a nightmare if you dont have the characters to make 5 seperate parties that function as well as your main one. And if you dont even have a main party oooi. Look up a tutorial looney tune. Think your gonna catch that rabbit with those stubby legs. Lmao yes that was short. Cause my first response, if it never posted, was being nice and told you everything about A.i and Auto Battle. But if your this new. Then wtf am I doing teaching you when you can check back in OPs catalogue of videos alone and he can show u. Not to mention other youtubers, reddit some info on GS facebook page(barely) lmao but there is enough info. Actually all this about Arts gen for me was the most complicating thing that has taken me over a year. @@ThiccA55Legs no problem bro. In game battle, top right of the screen. Click that. Thats stuff you can change if you ever want to use the auto battle. Out of a battle either in your character selection or in the main games menu click on units. And somewhere there should be a button for A.I settings. Play around with that for much more detailed and optimized team comps. What I mean by that is what you unit each unit to do. In this game there are each character comboc and then there are the team combos. So take the fate crossover. Lot of those units had their own combos which is certain which Art type skill you did first,second, third to maximize their damage or buffs or debuffs. Someone like Rin&Luvia you had to go true arts first then i think arts and the finally you hit them with the nuke which was her Super Arts and it also buffed your magic dmg for the team. But along with each character. You have your team combos. So say you got rin& luvia warfen chloe and shit i dunno some rando vox. Youd want to do wargod fin true art, rin true art Vox True Art then chloe Doesnt matter Art true art super art dont matter. Your aim is to get rin & luvia to pull off her Super art combo as soon as possible cause your trying to slam your dick in their face like your AfroZilla and make sure when you hit, that nut be sending them dimensional You get me my guy lmao 🤣 Yeah i think im funny even if im the only one. But the point of a team combo is to essentially help the arts gen flow and finish off with a bang. Some combos just have continuous damage and other teams have one big nuker. While other teams have two dps and support and one person thats debuffing a unit. If it sounds complicated then im sorry friend. I thought I was Albert Eintstein turns out Im just Albert. On a happy note the north is showing calm skies and a calm ocean with a slow moving breeze moving down hitting some lava... HOLY FUCK THERES A TSUNAMI WHERE DID THAT COME FROM. Point is were all gonna die it aint that serious just have fun and fuck around. Enjoy the game play with anyone you want. Shits gonna be fustrating just remember what I said. If you can accept that and find peace within that then your a better person. If you cant and find yourself drowning ask for help. Thats as good in this game as in real life. Just gotta be willing to give it your best shot

For stuff like type F you need to meet a condition of some sort to get the art gen ( allies must be above 50% HP for example) EX3 includes passive art gen effects like dark Riviera's passive and diablo as well. Honestly idk the difference between A and B tho it's probably just to "balance" units out.

I think units that provide the same kind of Art gen determine their group. If there isn’t a group that a character follows, they create one. This game is a bit of copy and paste for characters but they are getting more unique due to awoken characters meaning the groups will increase.
