Im glad they've not turned up and made loads of instant changes based on public knowledge/rumours. I think thinking more logistical and approaching the long term plan when they can rationalise. One thing I'd like to see, though, is the manager of the team getting reviewed. The league table , style of play and boring interviews is enough information.

Dyche needs to be replaced ASAP preferably with someone with PL experience. I think it was 8 PL games won in 2024 and 4 of those were in April. We've failed to score in more than half of the games this season and have been beaten TWICE by Southampton. I'm going down to Bournemouth, tomorrow, expecting yet another defeat or, at best, a draw. Dyche seems incapable of setting his side up to win. Simply, just not good enough.

Interesting video chaps. I have a personal and professional interest in strategic decision making and every decision you describe has significant political consequences to a team (players and management) which is both extremely sensitive (you described yourself doing everything possible for the ‘marginal gains’ in another video well the other side of the coin is the marginal losses!) and in an extremely precarious position. I’d encourage you to think about the implications for players running out of contract, a manager in the same position and the director of football too in relation to each of the decisions you would like the new owners to make. The optimal strategic decision is to avoid making ANY non-player contract renewals or sackings for as long as possible. I expect and I hope the new owners are focussing entirely on putting together their preferred management team to begin in June.

Team’s got to make some smart investments, both short- and long-term. I know it’s literally an impossibility, but I’d love to see the Friedkins raid Ipswich Town. Liam Delap and Leif Davis would fix 2 of our biggest problems at the moment. Otherwise, we need immediate upgrades in midfield.

The league positions of 14th, 15th, 16th are Dyches' comfort zone...this is the part of the table that he feels comfortable...he knows what to do, what to say and how to set the team up to play in 15th/16th. As long as he is the manager...Everton will be in one of these positions in the league. (At best).

Ahead of a huge summer for us where we are expecting around half of our first team squad to move on, they need to appoint a board and decide on the strategy and Manager before the summer window. We cannot afford to sign 10-12 players all under 1 manager unless we have a clear project and plan to keep that manager long term.

I just want Broja to score a goal, start games more often than not and not need 8 chances to score 1 goal like the others. That would change the whole picture. I know we're not great in possession but other teams have shown you can get away with that if you take your chances. An 18 month contract will not work because of how much squad turnover we are about to have. Our main goal is to score a goal. That is where it starts. We need, as we always need, that brilliant unknown 19 year old winger who will score 20 goals a season. We need a committee, which takes notes, and does governance. A bit of governance, provided by the Esk, will lead to a CEO and a COO and divisional reporting requirements. Once these have met and reported and their recommendations accepted, then the new napkins will be in place at BMD by 2029. Meanwhile the 19 year old Norwegian winger, who was born in Bolton of Indonesian parents, will have his visa granted in about 4 years and sign for Brighton. Meanwhile, the Esk is putting together a special discussion and analysis group (known in the trade as a sdag) working on a model that is hoped will be a pathway to a goal, maybe as early as Easter.

Marc Watts is not interim. The only interim board member is Chong. The others are permanent. Marc Watts role as "Executive Chairman" is to oversee the board of directors for Friedkin Group. It's not a full time role. The CEO is apparently lined up. I'm not sure where Ped and Baz are getting this interim thing from. Ornstein was wrong when he stated Marc Watts is interim

Well I suppose one question is answered. The new owners have had no plan to replace Dyche. If they had, you'd think they would have done so by now. The Dyche blame game has some substance, but we are talking about a football club that has been flat lining for years and somehow managing to cling to its premier league status. Dyche did very well in keeping the club up last season and season before but his tactics are a big concern long term. It's a tricky one, you have be very careful what you wish for in football, blink and you are dropping through the league's, Man City in the 90's, Sunderland, Leeds. Dyche is not responsible for the pitiful state Everton FC have been in for years, it is systemic mismanagement from the top down
