Plane surveying is the process of surveying by assuming that the earth is flat. Which means the curvature or spherical shape of the earth is not considered in plane surveying calculations. Geodetic surveying is a process of surveying by considering the curvature or spherical shape of the earth. Plane surveyors and geodetic surveyors work from the same benchmarks. Something doesn't seem right. How do you reconcile it.
@ThomasKundera2 жыл бұрын
The plane survey will accumulate errors that are manageable at small scale but unusable on large area.
@ajaolu2 жыл бұрын
These benchmarks are usually established by geodetic surveying approach for accuracy however, such benchmarks can be used for plane surveying over small area where the accumulated errors and distortions are negligible considering the accuracy expectation of such surveying which are mostly third order surveys.

I dislike about this explanation that it ommits and ignores such thing as geoid vs elipsoid where the datum is the instrument which tries to overcome the difference between them.

For me i dont believe if the earth is Geoid because we could not predict its real shale we cannot see its whole form only god can know it or if you read our Bible the shape of was written on the bible Bible dont say about the shape but it describing its forms like a Tent that you can stretch that's why i Believe In all information that was all In The Bible❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
