true, but when you can't find a piece (socks, shirt, sweaters, kilt) its hectic trying to find them cause if you don't have proper uniform most teachers will kick you out of class. I can sometimes get away with it though

But you know what, I prefer not to wear uniform. Schools in Asia mostly provide uniform for their students to wear, menaing that we can't wear anything else but the school uniform. And it's so restricted. We can't wear shorts, skinny jeans or what. It's just a blouse with collar and a short skirt. Ugh.

I'm from Milwaukee, WI and I go to the stores and ghetto malls of the southside (where latinos mostly live at but many chinese/hmong people have businesses here) and they import a lot of REALLY cute stuff from Korea, China, and sometimes Japan. I also go to china town and the japanese store that's in Chicago (an hour and 45 minutes from where I live at). The internet is always a good place, like ebay and amazon to buy cute stuff from Asia.

They're uniforms. I'm pretty sure most japanese uniforms are skirts for girls and pants for boys. Girls can wear shorts under their skirts and socks though, so you can be more covered up if you wish

fham (old account) the thing is Japanese high school are different from American school in the way classes are distributed. Like for example one class stays together for the rest of school years, the classroom doesn't change, the student don't go to other classrooms, the teachers comes in the class room. And most of the break times while staying in the classroom is pretty boring, they will bring makeup to wear and small pillows or something like that

That's why I always tried to have weird backpacks that no one else had. Mine was a vintage Sailor Moon one, and my other one was Totoro: and although I got bullied relentlessly I loved my backpacks and what I had.

In my school all we are allowed to bring are books, pencil case and lunch box. And our bags are also checked by student council and if somehow they find a lip gloss or any other cosmetics hidden inside a backpack they will take it and report it to the teachers. We never get it back.
