But if p/q is a rational number then how 22/7 can be irrational number? . . . √2 & √3 is irrational number according to existing definition. But . . If 22/7 ie. Pie should irrational number then we have to change the definition of rational number... And what is 10/3? Rational or Irrational?

Now this seems more perfect definition ... the other one saying u can write a irrational number as decimal but not p/q ... now this is kinda stupid... seems other way round for me. :) How can u write a decimal number which is non terminating....and more always has irregular pattern in right hand side of decimal. :)

Non-terminating is in the digits which never end and non-recurring is in that a pattern won't be found.

Non-terminating means those digits which never ends and non recurring means: for example: 2.01010101010101 is a recurring number as 0101 are repeatedly shown and 2.012345678 is non recurring as 0123.. is not repeatedly shown.
