No - that "noise" was just a zippy sound showing that FastTrack drivers can move along better than in heavy track. There is a minor transponder response "ping" that is hear, however. That ping sound indicates that your car has been detected and has responded to the system.

I would understand that I use on Fastrack and get charge on $1 fee for service beside my usages. I didn't understand on without using on Fastrack and have to pay for $1 on service fee.

California drivers pay the highest DMV fees and gas tax we need more Lanes not fast track or toll roads. We need a California governor that's going to give something to the family and that's the people of California we do not want toll roads or fast tracks we want freeway efficiency.

Adding more lanes doesn't do anything. Just look at Texas, they keep expanding their highways, yet they still end up clogged just a year or so after it's expanded. Do we really want a 20-lane highway through LA? What we really need are more alternatives to driving. Better (and reliable) mass transit options, protected bike lanes, more pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods. Driving shouldn't be the ONLY option.

Why does Metro Express Lane Fast Track does not follow state law for Veterans? VETERANS who are 100% should be allowed to travel for free. Most of Veteran Clinics and hospitals are on these freeways. Los Angeles has the highest number of concentration of Veteran in the United States. Beginning January 1, 2023, a new California law - Assembly Bill 2949 will grant eligible veterans of the U.S. armed forces free tolls on California toll bridges. Vehicles registered to a veteran displaying eligible license plates will be exempt from paying tolls

Rates are ridiculously high during peak hours. I’ve seen it as high as $21....OUTRAGEOUS!!! Another way for California to make money. The funds they get from this should be what they’re using to fix the roads and bridges, instead of hitting us with a $.12 a gallon gas tax and wanting us to vote no on prop 6. I’m voting YES!!!!

I hope you know you're not paying only $0.12 per gallon it's close to $0.77 per gallon on gas tax this money is then used to construct FasTrak and toll roads Plus our DMV fees are supposed to pay for roads Bridges and highways California freeways are so corrupted.

Google list all 50 states gas prices California is the highest we are saturated with so much gas tax enough is enough Airgas tax fees for toll roads and fast tracks that are owned by California transportation.
