What are Perry Suspenders?

It might look "dorky" but the belt is necessary if you have to hang other things on it,like a phone or a pager.

I am 60 yrs. old and after a life of working construction this is exactly what I am looking for. Married with children and grand children and coming up on my 40th anniversary so I really don't care much about fashion but more about practicality. I am always carrying something on my belt like a tape measure and more so a gun now a days so I need something to hold my belt up.

I wear them under my shirt. They’re comfortable against bare skin, even working in a mill 12 hours a day.

Found these at walmart and I'm glad I bought them. I work long hours and frequently have to bend down and get under stuff and these keep my pants up and my shirt tucked in and as advertised, they dont unclip from your belt when doing said work.

In my experience, only a handful of times. But its easy enough to just hook them back on to your belt. I'm constantly bending down under machinery with low clearance and haven't had any issues with my pants sagging or having to adjust them. You may have to adjust the straps every now and then because they arent too secure and then end up extending. They do make long work days a bit more comfortable because you're not worried about plumbers crack or standing up and having to pull your pants up. For the price of roughly 20$ CDN it's worth it in my opinion.

I got some dickies brand perry suspenders from Walmart. $10 US. They work great and I’ve only had them come off when my belt is relatively loose.

Love my Perry belt suspenders. Just got them a couple days ago. My old clip suspenders kept slipping off my pants. Belt suspenders sooooo much better.

I love this brand but I wish you could make it so the plastic adjustment part on your chest wasn’t so noticeable. Can these be made thinner or put onto the back do your front is cleaner under your shirt?

The whole point of suspenders is hold your pants up without the need of a belt . It's counter productive and looks bad. It's the number one rule of suspenders.

Well if you carry tools and heavy stuff on your belt all day your asscrack shows and your pants start to fall. Using both prevent that in general. If only using suspenders you couldn't hold your tools on you cus it requires a belt to attach it to your body. Doesn't matter how it looks it gets the job done faster.

@@cameronartukovich6810 Yeah, thats work suspenders for function. In this video, this is for fashion and holding your pants up without tools. So this counters the purpose of suspenders.

@@BlackFurryNightI guess in fashion wise you are right. Me for example I'm a welder so I always got something on me in terms of tools and I also wear my welding clothes outside of work so on weekends it's for fashion hehe.

@@BlackFurryNight yeah, unless you're carrying a gun or other equipment. style isn't everything. so yeah, they do serve a legitimate purpose. I want a belt and suspenders.
