Outstanding point on the density issue of nuclear versus renewables.

I have heard this interview again and again. There is so much knowledge to gain from Mr. Jeff Currie, he is effortlessly joining all the dots.....i wish he can teach also online to benefit people from his vast knowledge. Thanks to you tube and organiser for making this video available.

A tremendous interview. Had to listen to it twice to absorb all the information that was transmitted. Much appreciated.

Outstanding on the macro. One thing missing. Storage of uranium described as a prohibitive cost, but no actual figure given either in absolute or relative terms. Would be very doubtful that Sprott had not considered in their equation. Is it x dollars per pound or y per centage of overall cost. Obviously is a factor but is that factor destructive? The money raised by the Sprott Trust and subsequent pounds purchase has been spectacular. A mistake for investors? Remains to be seen but if spot price increases, I do not see how there will be detrimental effects. Otherwise very thoughtful and and provocative analysis. Particularly with respect to the inverse relationship between success of carbon capture working against alternative technologies. My guess is that there is room for both, but could certainly be investment concerns. A very good consideration.

There is a CO2 storage project that is currently being developed by Summit Carbon Solutions. The project would take CO2 from Ethanol plants in the upper midwest and pipe it to North Dakota. The CO2 would be pumped into shale rock deep underground. Summit has plans to capture over 10 million tons per year of CO2 emissions.

is CO2 really a problem or is everyone just parroting each other?

Why he is talking about uranium trading....i thought uranium was only available to governments.....can I take physical delivery of uranium.

Sprott physical uranium trust is your best and only option to holding uranium, otherwise URNM and URA are uranium mining ETFs

Inequality and climate problems go together like bicycles and oranges. Who in their right mind wouldn't take a bicycle ride while eating an orange, I ask you ?

The comment on "Cost of Carry" for Uranium is nonsensical, especially when a few minutes later he highlights the density of uranium. At the moment there is no public way to invest in SMR technology. Although Fluor Corporation’s nuclear energy unit NuScale Power is to merge with special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) Spring Valley Acquisition Corp in a transaction valued at $1.9bn.

100% agree with the first point. I haven't looked into SMR companies very deeply, but one that comes to mind is Rolls Royce. It's far from a pure play obviously, but it is publicly traded. That would perhaps be an investment for a very long time horizon. There are better ways to play the current cycle IMO.
