Universe tree blue Goku is literally this. Like the absolute negativity around him has been insane and truth hasn't exactly been the most enthusiastic around the dude. Teq Vegeta gets murdered by gogeta and janemba and while he does really well in Goku and Frieza and Bulma so does blue Goku. Blue Goku performance across all four "hardest events" are consistent unlike certain other units which only do good on two out of four.

I agree universal goku has blown me away I got lucky enough to rainbow him in 150 stones. I had mostly dodge equips on him but I realized I had mega defense equips 900 gold 600 silver and 800 bronze and his defense and tanking ability has skyrocketed. He was at 560k defense turn 18 against turn 4 family Kamehameha Gohan and took 280k. The friend Goku with base rainbow defense got killed at 480k from the same super both pre super attack

Oh, for sure. Blue Goku is 100% underrated, but that’s mostly because he’s a Heroes unit with low HP stats. I’ve found his offensive performance to be absolutely ridiculous, and he’s not a bad defensive character either. His Leader Skill is also very strong too. I’d say that it’s nearly on par with other regular DFE characters. But, I’m willing to bet that the 10th anniversary power creep is going to blow away all of our current characters.

It's STR LR Future Gohan from last year's world wide and its not even close. This is a character that can literally eat both Gogeta's and Janemba's super better than most of the game, and yet I don't hear ANYONE talk about him at all. He is definitely an intro merchant for sure which makes it so he's only super good in shorter fights, but considering the fact that some of the hardest fights in the game right now are shorter fights like Gogeta and Janemba, then I really do believe that he doesn't get the respect that he deserves, ESPECIALLY for a 2023 unit

I think what is missing here is 55% vs. Rainbow. Both AGL SSJ3 Goku and LR Janemba(on release) at 55% weren't all that. In the case of Janemba I got dupes pretty quickly back then and really noticed the huge difference it makes. So I wouldn't be surprised if most of these opinions stem from the impression of the 55% character that probably also lacks link levels.

Lets look at the relevant fights the Gammas crush now: - LR Gofrieza - Bulma - Super Gogeta DatruthDT also so often literally doesn't even know how they work. In Gamma 1 they change AGL to INT, so you should try to save AGL orbs. But guess what Datruth does? He has a unit at 24ki Start of turn, and gives him 7 AGL orbs LOL Then he gets to the next turn and wonders where all his INT orbs are LOL Theres several videos where HE LITERALLY DOES THIS LOLLLLLL So don't try to pretend you dont do this Datruth He also literally doesn't even know how Gamma 1's 50% 2 turn buff works, he keeps calling SA defense support for "small extra little defense buff", where did he get that idea from??? Its arguably a way bigger buff in many examples than for example the LR M8 trios 77% defense buff, and especially in slot 1 UI Gokus SOT passive defense buff is 300%, and SA phase buff at +0% at start of turn, so if he goes up to 377% passive defense buff, all he gains is an overall of 26% defense If we look at how LR Gamma 1s buff is, then UI Goku is at 300%, with +50% SA defense already active at the start of turn, making it an overall 50% defense buff to his overall defense. So its giving *TWICE* as much support in slot 1

I still don't get why you dislike INT Broly. He's a great slot 1 with his domain up, he heals, he supports, his damage is not monstrous or anything but it's still good (20-25M Super Effective against all types is more than decent), and when his domain runs out he completely insulates the team with his revive. I've never found the Uncontrollable Power restriction bad because Uncontrollable Power is a fantastic team with a good amount of flexibility in case any character isn't great in a particular fight. INT Broly, Janemba, TEQ Carnival Broly, Bio Broly, Cell Max, Super EZA Broly, Buutenks, Fat Buu, TEQ SSJ Broly, AGL Broly.

UNC power restriction is definitely bad. if you run anything other than UNC, you need rng to get his domain up when he’s on rotation. this is made prevalent with slug, who is a good leader for movie bosses, but you can’t run broly with him because he wouldn’t be able to get it up.

Janemba does have a team issue. He only has 4 teams, which are mostly just different variations of movie bosses. Janemba works fine on the Broly teams because he gets the full 200% but aside from that he only has Slug’s team. Truth said it himself that Janemba doesn’t perform well on Slug’s team due to not having the 200% nor access to the domain buff, but I still think he is essential on Slug’s team because like who else are you using? Pretty much if you didn’t pull the Broly’s during anniversary/wwc, and you didn’t pull or just skipped Slug you have nowhere to use Janemba

On release? AGL 21, AGL Kale, TEQ LR Ribrianne, TEQ SEZA Gotenks, PHY banner Gotenks, INT medimacha. And for TODAY INT Piccolo JR. Easily no itemed Gogeta with double Piccolo JR lead, and he is good against most fights outside of Janemba and G&F still. Piccolo Jr team is unironically better then Heroes in 2024. TEQ SSJ3 LR Goku. He can handle business if you use him effectively, meaning you cant 18 ki until the final phase. He has good defense post 12ki. AGL LR Gohan was way overhyped on his eza, but then quickly forgotten. But if he can safetly stack up and the enemy can be attack lowered he can still compete even today suprisingly. Maybe not so underrated but rather undervalued due to powercreep.

I think you hate too much on his Vegeta form because he isn't that good defensively (he isn't horrible considering you kinda want the revive and it stills helps the team and he can tank most normals) to the point you don't realize he's actually a rather good unit. Just so you know, Goku with All in the Family and The Saiyan Lineage + 50% support has 1.66m DEF. This makes him able to tank up to nearly 6m damage. Sure he isn't like TOP 1 or anything, but saying he's ass??? What are you smoking dude lol

Well he is ass because to use him means you are using vegeta. and Vegeta is ass. Goku is just ok. he's not all that great but to even get to the ok. unit you have to use the pure unadulterated ass that is vegeta. Not to mention that to get Goku to the point where he's even ok. you HAVE to be running planet namek saga ally's which aren't that great, you have scouter vegeta who is hilariously mid, and then you have Gohan/Piccolo who are solid but you would literally have to run them to get goku to being ok. And none of this is mentioning the fact that if a player doesn't own either vegeta or gohan/piccolo this unit is unrunnable trash. 99% of players aren't truth so they speak from their own experience which is vastly different when you don't own every single character in the game. For some quick numbers, if you have 1.6m defense with only his 30% dr he takes 1,241,999 from a 4 mil super flat. type neutral So yeah the namek saga ally is not negotiable, you're either running him with a namek saga ally or he's useless. For example, truth says that Janemba has plenty of teams to run and lists 4 teams agl broly's team, int broly's team, teq Broly's team and Slugs team. I have exactly 0 of those characters so where the fuck am I supposed to run Janemba? So for me Janemba is literally unusable. I cannot run him anywhere.

@haydenmcqueen2503 The last point is a you problem though, we're talking about 3 DF LRs and the last DF that's extremely good. I agree that Vegeta/Goku isn't easy to play, especially right now since Namek Saga ain't all that. BUT! I still think Goku cannot be considered just "ok". Tanking SAs up to 5m is not an ok performance, most units can't do that. And he still does pretty good damage alongside that. Vegeta isn't horrible again, you most likely will have to play a single turn with him and he can tank most normals. (Besides like Janemba and buffed up Bulma/Goku & Frieza but those two you normally already have Goku) He's not great, besides offense at which he is pretty impressive, but he's decent enough considering how good Goku is. I do agree though, right now the unit isn't in the best spot. BUT! We're getting SSJ Goku and FP Frieza EZAs in like 3-4 months. And he links really well with the former

@@winterbeast6326 Yes we're getting the wwdc eza's with anni most likely but at the state they're in now vegeta/goku aren't likely to survive the next wave of powercreep. I can absolutely call Goku just ok since his impressive performance defensively is locked to slot 2 while requiring mediocre at best partners to get there. Getting goku''s peak performance makes your team as a whole worse on average, why go out of your way to get goku his 60% dr when you could just run better units who do more for your chances to win. Yes the last point is a me problem which was my point. I can with 100% certainty call Janemba homeless for my box because I have nowhere to run him because I just didn't pull 4 units this year, which is not an uncommon experience, which is what truth fails to understand when people talk about strugging to find spots to use units such as Janemba, all it takes is a player missing a couple of dfe's and then this eza is worthless to them, truth doesn't have this problem so he never considers it when people talk about this stuff. Vegeta is still a huge liability, If he shows up on turn one and gets caught by a stray super then he's just going to fall over dead with nothing to save you, Or on turn 3 if he doesn't die on the first turn if you go into that turn above 50% hp he's still just a sitting duck without his revive. He sucks. He's terrible, there's no defending it Vegeta is objectively fucking awful and Goku is just solid but the whole unit is hindered by the fact that Vegeta is just that bad and to get goku's best performance you HAVE to be running mediocre units around him. The unit all around just isn't worth running outside of missions.

No. 1m DEF and 30% reduction is good enough. And even for the 10th, his revive being so easy to get makes up for his lacking defensive capabilities. Again, I'm not saying he's amazing, there plenty of characters that are better. But saying this unit is ass is completely foolish to me.
