@MetalViking same for me but, I read the entry so I knew what to do.The problem with jenny was that she's one of the only nightwraiths, so you can't get much experience, she also goes incorporeal way to much and on your first play through it gets annoying and even with Specter oil she does so much and can take some damage for any level 5 player.

I would say the Hym is more like the personification of guilt. Whether or not a person has actually done something bad if they feel they have done something wrong the Hym can haunt them. It feeds off their feelings of remorse but also seems to wish to punish the guilty as revealing the target as truly innocent causes the Hym to flee.

I LOVE THE SHOTS you have in your videos. 09:15 the Barghest shot was terrific. I am sure a lot of work went into making this. Probably being greedy here, even though you do have your interpretations here & there would love to hear that more, along with the bestiary stuff. Keep making the awesome content.

the specters are an odd bunch in the materialistic and almost atheist universe of the Witcher, I mean, they are a living sign of the existance of something after death, quite in contrast with the hopeless world around them.
@OKAYGUVBear6 жыл бұрын
It´s a cool thing to see and to know there´s another realm beneath it all that could exist.
@g.masterlordoftheg-force47704 жыл бұрын
Almost atheist? The majority of people in the game believe in something. Eternal Fire, Melitele, Norse Gods, etc. Toussaint is about the Lady of the Lake, but she is not divine. If she is the same from King Arthur (or inspired by), then she is just a spirit (a special one tho). Don't know about Nilfgaard and Ofieri.
@jacopoarmini78894 жыл бұрын
@@g.masterlordoftheg-force4770 sorry for the misunderstanding, I was referring to how bleak and godless the world of the Witcher is, as humans and the other magical creatures commit atrocities with no deity seemingly stopping them.

I like to think Specters are just the consciousness of a person, kept form by magic. The type of specter is determinded by how much magic is in the "air" at that moment, maybe their own inner magical power or if its mass death then all those combined energies fuse together, like in Witcher 2. Emotions also obviously have an effect on the form, but emotion also seems to work with Magic so it makes sense. Obviously in the games they all look the same, but that I say is a limitation of developers, not an accurate betrayal of what they would actually look like. Party because the Witcher makes it pretty clear Gods and Afterlife aren't really a provable thing, unlike Elder Scrolls. At least in the games.

Ventus Blizzard it's one of the few races that appeared in the game but are now officially extinct, the black dragon who appeared in the witcher 2 is said to be the last in the entire world (he was killed by geralt) but we don't officially know if it was actually the last , because in the game you'll find a notebook of a fellow witcher (in one of the gear hunts) who was hunting a green dragon (he actually succeeded in killing the dragon but died while doing so) what a legend
