For short distance racing, the best food to feed your racing pigeons ia a mixture of high energy seeds and grains. 60% of Corn, wheat/barley 10%, safflowers 10%, maple peas 10%, sunflower seeds 5%, flax seed 3%, and peanuts 2%. Some pigeon mixtures in the market are good enough and well balance. It's up to you to decide which mixtures are you going to use or buy.
