Rajdeep hamare Rajasthan se bhi ek hai 26 years ki. She has no exposure to politics, she is married, mother of two, and her husband is constable in Rajasthan police. You should have given her space too. Yeah she isn't as polished as these are but this is what democracy is all about.

The best thing about being in politics is that one get to know about the communities,their hopes, aspirations, anxieties and issues plaguing them. Once elected to public office one possess the power, authority and resources at its disposal to resolve the plight of ordinary citizens. They can become their voice and represent them at a constitutional platform which is largely distant from the masses. But there are difficulties as well. It is a 24*7 job, gruelling, demanding, unforgiving and brutal. One has to be on toes, alert, vigilant and reinvent themselves to remain relevant with changing times. Voter is becoming more aspirational and impatient with time failing to recognise constraints and inhibitions associated with constitutional positions. This is an another aspect of this profession or public life as a whole.

Young people in the parliament are always a welcome sight. However, both these ladies and most of young elected parliamentarians are sons or daughters of ex MPs or MLAs, this should change and talented young people from non-political familes should also be given a chance.
