As always great list. I have a few of those in my deck. I focused more on angel tribal with some good ones from kaldheim. The second focus is making everything hurt (kambal, isolation cell, ankh of mishra, etc.)

The second focus is ideal since it synergises with her completely - the philosophy I like and I've built around is - keeping her on the battlefield at all times, protecting her with cards like Swiftfoot Boots, Mirror Shield, Timely Ward and indestructible counters, playing enough removal/ boardwipes to keep the battlefield clean and forcing opponents to play as many spells as they can to rebuild their board - a combination of group slug and control. Ankh of Mishra is a good addition, I will name a couple more cards - Archfiend of Depravity - keeping opponent's board small, Erebos, God of the Dead - for stopping life gain, Pestilence - as a mana sink, damages opponent's life totals and obliterates creatures that are low to the ground, excellent against token/ swarm decks if you don't have a board wipe at hand, Professor Onyx - since black can run out of gas easily her first ability is great, the second is even better and her Magecraft static is pretty good as well, since you will probably be slinging a lot of removal spells during the game, so why not benefit off of it, the downside is she is a planeswalker and she will be targeted, Junji the Midnight Sky - can be a problem for opponents, great for reanimating Grey Merchant of Asphodel. And of course, I'm running those beautiful black enchantments - Bloodchief Ascension, Painful Quandary, Oubliette and Wound Reflection. It is so funny how the table goes silent when any of those hit the battlefield haha.

I'm surprised you didn't mention exquisite blood with your sanguine bond. You also made a point with creatures not lasting, I don't recall many games where she made it two full turns. Good list.

Holy Angels, stop have me redo all my decks! Liesa was my very first attempt at a magic deck when I started, back in.... last October or so. ^_^

@@aktirimagic4405 maybe 6. Startet as a lockdown thing. Played once on a borrowed deck in lime 2002, that was all my experience. Only been to two commander nights so far bit have like 6 decks. Mostly bad ones. My Liesa is an Angel tribal for instance. :D

@@aktirimagic4405 I'm partial to tribals, reviving spells and cheating the commander tax. Working on a low budget Jhoira of the Ghitu deck right now, trying to fit in every budget eldrazi I can find (like Artisan of Kozilek which goes for ~30 cents). Because fair magic is fairly overrated. :>

I played against an amazing Liesa deck once… Months later and I’m still trying to build one that performs like that. Lol It really can be a great deck can win nearly every time.

Would the enchantment True Conviction be good? it gives all your creatures Lifelink and double strike. Pestilence is also a good selective "board wipe" that makes damage, and Deadly Tempest and Kaya's Wrath might work very well in this deck. Authority of the Consuls is a beast of a card! and the Eradicator Valkyrie is amazing, I want to use it in a deck soon. And for taxes the white Eidolon is good too. (I hate using tax tho xD)

I think true conviction is just hard to cast, but its a power house! I'm super excited about the Valkyrie though. Going to get a copy!
