In North America tires get the snowflakes after being tested on "softly packed snow". My KO2s have them, but I find them useless on hard pack or ice.

I have often helped others when a section of a ladder chain breaks then jambs between the brake caliper or drum. Once a brake caliper shattered and brake fluid leaked.

@@timbates4wdadventures Most of those instances we had to remove the wheel get the broke chain out. Ladder chains only have two connecting points, the diamonds have four. Diamonds work best on normal roads. They are popular in Northern. Canada.
