Falcons fan here, been paying a lotta attention to our OTA's etc, Kirk looks really good, he's way ahead of schedule on his rehab and he can make all of his throws. Penix looks outstanding but a rookie at times, hearing every rookie qb from this draft looks like a rookie. If Penix makes the field this year, its only due to a injury. I hope he gets the majority of the preseason snaps though. As far as we're now doomed because we didn't select a defensive player, not true. None of these top three edge players are elite. I hope they're not busts tbh but Latu would be the one to prove me wrong. To me, the player we missed on wasn't defense, its WR Rome Odunze. He would've fit nicely in our wr room. Imo there wasn't anybody else to pick that was better than what we had at that spot that wasn't a total reach. Trading back would've worked and got one of those db's. We did draft 4 dline and 1 lb so we got a lotta size now. Maybe 3rd time's the charm on Eddie Goldman lol. We went from no qb to two, Terry Fontenot did exactly what he should've done with what was available. We kept all of our #1's to get our guys so now, we got picks to work with over the next few years to build that dynasty and hopefully win a lotta games on the way. The one thing that Fontenot has done very well for us is signing free agents, they've all fit well. He's said repeatedly that he's not done. He will free up some cap and make room for a cut or two this summer. Would love to see Simmons get picked up, there are a few players out there to really help out our depth. Bucs ain't winning the South!

Hey, thats some good info on Kirk. I think you guys have a real shot at winning or appearing in a Super Bowl in the next couple years. You def could be right about those picks. Its going to be an exciting season. Another thing going for you is that players who leave Minnesota usually win a Super Bowl somewhere else. Bucs and Atlanta will be battling for that first place.
